I wouldn't help but notice that GnuPG team doesn't look very diverse. Is there a reason for that? No woman out here has a skill or talent to make part of the team like this? No minority? Interesting...

I agree, they need some diversity, a few women, some black and browns, and maybe a tranny or two.

>Linux
I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux!

Forgot to mention, it does support 64bit but sadly the RAM is soldered and 4gb are what it has and it's not upgradable.
>>
>>60791935
i want to know this too
>>
No, RAM doesn't matter, with 64bit you still get more registers to work with as well as whatever features come with the CPU, 32bit can use more than 4GB of ram with PAE, it's irrelevant.

Take into account this is only really true for software compiled for x64.

Does anyone have the Windows 7 ISO link?

I'm installing Win7 for a family memeber, I thought I downloaded it but my internet went out while it was downloading; and I completely forgot about it

I was using https://tb.rg-adguard.net/index.php but they've seemingly pulled the Win7 links, and the link I had in my Downloads 404s

I've been using Debian forever. Over the last few years I've begun using Ubuntu LTS on my servers to get a more modern stable variant.

I've always been fine with sid/experimental for my desktop but I've increasingly noticing people distributing Ubuntu-specific deb files with all sorts of dependency issues in Debian.

Has Debian become an old-man distro like Slackware? Why do people not test their deb files on Debian anymore? There's no reason to use Ubuntu, fuck.

There's no reason not to use Ubuntu, either. I didn't know about the distribution of Ubuntu-specific debs but I'm not surprised. It's literally turning into a case of get with the times, gramps.

there's some ubuntu server version or something

apt is deprecated though, statical linking is back and docker is the new package manager, srsly

Probably because monitors started shipping with their own power adapters and consume next to no power in standby.

People abused it for evil purposes and used it for powering hacker tools instead of monitors.

Hi /g/,

I dont any any skills in programmation, but i can fairly read code (if its not that complicated, logical reading you see)

Actually, i have a huge lua file (around 8mb) that contains a lot of stuff and i want to extract specific string from it and save them into a new organized txt file.

Its something like :
name = xxxx
specificity = xxxx

It can be also good if this sript (or whatever is) can also "translate" the extracted value to custom name i chose (for example, if the name in code is "melee_buff_heal_tier3" it would be displayed with a name i chose for this value)

Dont know if is that possible.

And i hope i was clear enough.

Pic related.

Thx guys.

Python 2.7
Make it search through all of the file

Something like
for line in file:
if 'name' in line:
new_txt.append(#append the name and data after the = sign and terminate if it finds a null or newline)

for names in new_txt:
name.replace(whatever string that replaces it)
