Amazon fire stick is the best option, no contest.
Raspberry Pi or something similar.
I haven't tried it myself, but I've seen several Anon say they do it in RasPi threads.

I stumbled across this that was linked in Popular Mechanics. They claim that you can get a CCNA cert for just $55. What's the catch here?
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/a26666/cisco-certification/
No catch. You could self teach yourself all the material with GNS3 and the Lammle texts though, but some people like structure. Majority of these courses, at full price, are paid for by corporations. My assumption is that massive price slashes like this pull in a fair amount of cash from individuals who would not otherwise pay the absurd costs of IT cert training.
>>60861412
>They claim that you can get a CCNA cert for just $55. What's the catch here?
If you bothered to read the article it is $55 for access to training materials. The two tests for CCNA will still cost you $125 each.
Are you blind OP? It's for the training materials, not the cert
>Get Cisco certified today for just $55—a huge reduction from $1,495, the usual price of these courses.
Its available for 27$ at a store.
I usually listen to rock, metal and blues so boomy bass isn't necessary. Just got tired of wearing headphones when alone and phone speaker sucks. So thought of buying something under 30$.
Does anyone here have any experience with it?
Also, cop or not general thread.
>Consumer shit with "pro" branding
It's crap.
>>60861210
Uhh... sorry but I don't know where you got that "pro" from. Its JBL GO.
And what else would you suggest then? Something thats under 30$ and available in Europe.
>>60861182
No, go to your local goodwill shop and get a pair of proper speakers
literally some guy from italy bought my rx580 on ebay for $650 + shipping, what the actual fuck, it was half joke listing, what are the miners mining in a day with rx580 anyway?
Are 480s and 470s worth anything?
>>60861524
all of amd cards have like, doubled in price for some reason, something about cryptominers.

>a well-compressed 1080p png can be as small as ~500 kB
>lossless video when compressed to something like AVC is about 35 MB/s
Does this mean photo compression is more efficient than video compression, or am I missing something?
>>60860898
Line up 100 of those PNGs and see what you get.
That's because AVC is trash.
Try that shit with CRF HEVC. I dare you, I double dog dare you motherfucker.
I love the menu bar. Keeps my bookmarks tucked away. But since they changed plugins it is the biggest pain. Some sites just hang and only by stopping script will it finish. Plus it has become so fucking slow. I don't chrome for it's style and look but it is literally twice as fast. I don't like how much memory it uses. WTF is going on with browsers anymore? FF really screwed the pooch on this one.
>>60860887
Works on my machine. Which version are you using?
>>60860991
53.0.3
It "works" generally. Just not as well as it once did. Chrome runs circles around it. FF was the standard for many years, but this recent change they made sucks. They should have left it alone.
yet another thread about browsers
Are Jumboframes on 1GbE BS?
>>60860690
jumpgrams are anywhere with ipv6 and an mtu of over ~1500. I'd have to look up the exact number. It doesn't matter, you shouldn't need them. Whatever host you send a jumpgram to will probably need to fragment it to send it past the next link anyways
>>60860690
No, but your ISP doesn't support it anyway, so it's only going to benefit you for local file transfers.
>>60860690
No, they are not BS. It's a pretty simple common sense thing to allow and use, same as HDD block sizes got bigger with the much bigger drives and so on.
But as >>60860940 indicated, most ISPs will not support them.
Let's have a retro tech thread /g/.
I found this at the ewaste depot today and brought it home. 25mhz 486SX, runs really well. Gonna put an ethernet card in it and get it online later today.

nah, it's actually got a FIVE HUNDRED MEGABYTE hard drive.
Hi /g/
Are there any full tower cases that have 3 unobstructed (aside from grill/filter) 120mm or even 140mm intake fans? Something like the Corsair 750D Airflow but with three fans instead of wasting space on drive bays. It would have to be full tower to accommodate EATX.
Also case thread I suppose.
>>60860235
On the front, not that I know, but Phanteks has cases with 3 unobstructed top fan slots and two front.
>>60860235
900D
>>60860235
Corsair 900d does.
That and room for like 4+ full size water cooling radiators.
IBM Keyboard
Does anyone know what specific is that?
have you heard the good word of this wonderful new service called Google that can look up model numbers and give you all the information you need to know when you wire this old piece of shit with a /g/-cool logo on it to your epic battlestation and blog about it tomorrow

Looks like you need an EPS connector on your PSU
Just connect half of the 8-pin ATX12V connector from the PSU. Then craigslist your PC as you're too stupid to own one. Get a Mac, seriously.
