What the best multi-purpose format for storing anything? I'm currently using PNG for storing my photos, scans, and pdf conversions of emails.

I print my emails from gmail to PDF and then convert the PDF to PNG for easier reading. PNG is an open format that doesn't require any additional software to view, and they can always be converted back to PDF and OCR'd if necessary.

wat, why not just store the emails as-is? they're single text files
why prerender and rasterise them? that's just a waste of space and energy
also;
a. PDF is also an open format
b. rasterising a rendered pdf email to a png can't be reversed back to pdf, the result will just be a png in a pdf file, it'll be bigger than the original, lower quality than the original, and entirely pointless

Any other Z4 users out there? I've been using this system for close to decade now and it's still great. However in recent months overall volume has noticeably decreased, headphone jack doesn't work, there's crackling when I adjust the volume knob and the knob itself feels like it's going to fall off.
What options are out there at the moment if I wanna replace this in a few months? I listen to a tonne of music. Do people that care about sound (but without the audiophile autism) still use 2.1 systems or bookshelf speakers?

I got some old Nokia flip phones(see pic).
They are pretty used up and are missing chargers but work(ed).
Is it still possible to sell these to someone for like $5-$10?
I assume they could use these to scavenge internal parts, or am I totally wrong and should dump these into a nearest phone recycling centre as soon as possible?
