With an ARM processor, notebooks could be just as cheap as a Xiaomi smartphone.
How can intel compete with their power hungry Core i3?
intel's already finished but this is icing on the dude holocaust lmao cake
windows is on arm, applications aren't. MS have been trying it since like 2013. Won't really happen unless they'd have an emulation layer like apple had
>>60912348
they are trying the emulation thing, Intel has already sent them a warning about that

Can you recommend me some cheap, good vps/domain services?
1. Are you using them?
2. What do you use?
i have a small, cheap VPS with RansomIT (Australia)
AU$15/quarter for 100GB bandwidth, 20G hdd space (or 10GB ssd space), 1Gb pipe, and 512M ram
they can handle a domain name for you as well
have had it since 2013 with no problems, used their support a few times and they've handled them quick and proper

>AU$15/quarter for 100GB bandwidth, 20G hdd space (or 10GB ssd space), 1Gb pipe, and 512M ram
Sounds kind of good but fuck this bandwidth limit.
>>60913107
don't really need a lot of bandwidth, but it is probably the most limiting factor, alongside storage space
it just runs a small website and personal business email, and it's plenty for that
Ok so I borrowed a laptop from a friend. This is the situation. How should I proceed? Take into consideration the fact that I would prefer not to die.
Apparently the power cable is broken
>>60841802
How fucking bad can you be at taking pictures? Is this bait?

I'm building a PC and I'm torn between a 34 inch Ultrawide or 3 x 1080p monitors
Any advice?
>>60912177
i'd go the ultrawide but i hate 1080p monitors
t. dual 27" 1440p
triple 1440p 144hz for games
triple 4k 60hz for everything else
ultrawide is a meme
1x 2560x1440 144hz IPS
1x 1920x1200 IPS secondary monitor
I just don't understand some tech nerds, why would they want to teach snakes how to code?
Those are cobras, not pythons, moron.
>>60841214
aren't boneless wings just chicken nuggets?
>>60841613
No because nuggets are basically fine-grinded meatballs, while wings are the entire piece.
Also different recipe, so they're cooked differently.
I got Samsung SyncMaster 2343NW monitor from my friend. It has 2048x1152 native resolution. Is there a way to force monitor to 1920x1080 without making it all blurry? I have no idea how does that work, but my TV is 1920x1080 right? And it's not blurry when I connect my PC to it.
Not really. Is there any particular reason you need to? They are both 16:9 resolutions.
As a rule, you should use the resolution your monitor is meant to display, because if you don't the pixels of the output won't align with the physical pixels causing it to look fucked
So to summarise, just use 2048x1152 unless you have a very good reason not to.
hi /g/,
Just installed pic related.
I know of binaries for large packages such as Firefox and LibreOffice but could anyone point me to an overlay with a desktop environment binary or do I have to wait another 40 minutes for KDE complile?
Thank you sirs.
