I was fucking rendering something and Linux crashed on me. 5 fucking hours wasted
You faggots told me this wouldn't happen on Linux
but everyone knows linux doesn't fucking work
>>60916652

>rendering on linux

Go was a mistake
Correct.
If you wanted to make a gimped C with a GC, repeating the mistakes of Java is really not what you should have started with.
Hey, i need some help with my internet. I live in sticks and pay an arm and a leg for my 1.5 mbs. However Steam says im only Dling at 150 kbs... which is fucking slow
We're stumped. Can't explain why this suddenly stopped working month ago. All equipment replaced, nothing blocking line of site, and antenna placements even moved on dredge.
I'm desperate /g/
Is there still no 144hz 32'' monitor? I want to upgrade my 32'' 4k Philips to HDR but it seems that my only options if I want 144hz (and Gsync) right now are 27'' inch monitors by Asus and Acer announced at CES 2017. 4k is perfect on 32'' and I don't want to downgrade, besides the monitor doubles as a TV for me and I have no free space for both the monitor and the TV.
Right now I'm looking at latest Asus ProArt with HDR and 4K, it doesn't have gsync obviously and is only 60hz. I only wish it didn't look as ugly. Also general monitor thread I suppose.

32inch is not too big for you??
>>60898305
I sit on the distance of extended hand and nope. I don't use high DPI scaling and it's even a bit hard to read next if I don't zoom in to 110%, and the viewing angles are perfect on this ips ahva..

Hello /g/.
I have been checking my sony's camera lately with taking photos of my face.
Every time I use the front camera I look like a pale ghost but when I take photos with the back camera I look normal.
I wonder which one captures my face more accurate?
>>60897587
The back camera is usually much better than the front one.
>>60897626
Most front cameras have cancerous "beauty" filters as well, this could also be fucking with OP'd day
What the fuck happened to performance increases in personal computers?
I built my current desktop nearly nine years ago, and it wasn't even bleeding-edge back then. Yet with only minimal upgrades (mainly storage, at that), it works totally fine nine years later with my daily uses which include mobile software development (as a hobby) and film finishing (my career), which involves working with large 4K raw camera footage.
Certainly there have been some improvements, but it just seems so minimal compared to the leaps and bounds in progress and innovation that we used to see.
Which version should I get?
Education.
Its like Enterprise. Still shit, but better than others.
>>60897179
Education or Enterprise.

best way to set a vector in c++ to another vector at an offset?
such as:
std::vector<unsigned char> vect1; (pretend it is filled)
std::vector<unsigned char> vect2;

/g/ Why are you using OS made by poo pajeet and neckbeard?
Why you guys are not using OS made by white and asian people.
>>60895865
You probably wanted to attach a picture of os x or *bsd. Every windows since 98 is made by pajeets
