How easy is it to just copypasta the Manjaro themes and config for i3 to a Void Linux install?
>wanna try out webassembly
>download emsdk
>installer git clones and compiles ALL of LLVM/clang
>compile operation takes nearly 3 hours even with 2 cores -j2
>LLVM/clang is such a piece of shit that the linker runs out of memory despite my 8GB swap
>finally compiles after the 3rd try
>try to write a test project using emscripten libraries
>compile with emcc
>DISK FULL
>what the fuck
>emsdk installation + object files take up over 25GB of disk space
>recursively run make clean on the entire emsdk directory tree
>installation now only 1.1GB
>it deleted some important libraries or something and now emcc no longer works
>now i have to recompile it again from scratch to fix it
>later find out there's no standardized way to load and access a WASM module into your javascript project
And this is literally, LITERALLY the only way to generate wasm binaries as of posting.
What a steaming load of shit, how do they expect to be taken seriously when their toolchain is just as fragile and bloated as your typical webdev react-express-sass-babel-webpack monstrocity?

for you

Why do people waste money upgrading their phones every year?
I want to fuck an overwatch
>>60922944
what is a overwatcher?
>>60922919
I always upgrade every 2 years and buy the phones unlocked.
I'm a newb to coding/site building. I work for a company with it's head in it's ass. If I can create a site where we can sign in and make changes to spread sheets and keep different departments on the same page we can cut out a lot of misery. Is this something WordPress can address? What language should I prioritize to get this made. Thanks in advance

What the fuck
I have to return a desktop to Best buy but I "used all of my returns for the year". How do I make them take the return?
Best Buy CS worker here. How the fuck did you manage that?

Buying and returning a few laptops I didn't like. They gave me some number to call and the pajeet said I can't return anything for a year, but I have to return this.

Does anyone make a monitor with
>thin bezel
>~20" screen size
>1080
>VESA mount
Bonus
>less than $200
I have a stupidly thin desk from Ikea that I'm not getting rid of anytime soon, but my two 24" monitors are becoming a pain in my ass.
I've been looking into monitor arms but they're usually too high for my monitors.
>help me /g/, you're my only hope
I own that monitor in the picture and it's very nice. Comes with sRGB mode too.
>>60922718
I'm considering it, I'm also considering this one.
I was first thinking of mounting my current ones on this, but they'd be sitting almost twice as high as they are now and I'd be craning my neck too much.
How do you cope with add-ons not compatible with this revolutionary tech?
Single thread Firefox is very fast for me on Solus. It's slow as shit on Windows despite that installation being minimal and on an SSD. Wonder why that is...
too lazy to update and deal with it. I'll give it some thought when they kill XUL addons later this year.
>>60922659
It's temporary. 90% of add ons will stop working in Firefox v57
anon do you ever feel like going full hacker and just living in a van with your equipment?

I need a new Mechanical Pencil that doesn't suck.
I was using the Lamy 2000 Mechanical Pencil and I really liked it nice weight and it actually looked decent but the mechanism started to really fuck up and not feed lead often and I got kind of sick of that.
I got a Kuru Toga but Its honestly not that great, the rotating mechanism makes the tip feel... off center.
Any suggestions for a Mechanical Pencil that doesn't suck?
Other Writing Implements are also welcome to be discussed.
>>60922458
Why a pencil? just get a pack of precise v5's at the local store or some shit.
>>60922485
I've already got good pens.
>buy a Levenger 3.0
>Literally perfect in everyway
>It sucks dick at actually putting ink on the paper when you need it too
I want this crushing sadness to end. This thing is so awesome, but you have to spend a solid minute just scribbling after wetting the nib to actually get it working right.

Whoever did this email triggering on Terry should be ashamed the man is suffering from a terrible condition, Terry is a genius on all levels and doesn't deserve this treatment.
It was me LOL
NO! It was me!
He's probably going to end up getting himself killed because of some of the faggots on here.
I'm not normally a carefag but fuck me, where do you draw the line.
how does it feel to live in a bubble
if you're employed in tech/software, chances are that your employer is bleeding money and never once turned a profit in the first place
what are you going to do when the VC tit dries up
it's already much harder to get a kickstarter project funded compared to a few years ago
if you're a software developer and you don't know C, C++, java or C# you're a fucking joke

This. I see all these phone app companies with 30 employees, huge office, brand new computers and furniture, the works. The app's been out for 4 years, $2 to purchase. 40k downloads and that's it. Barely covers the salary for a single junior developer in the Bay Area. Makes no sense to me how these people get all this capital thrown at them.
>>60922534
im guessing they make things that people actually use
