I just moved everything to BTRFS. /boot partition is ext3, and everything else is BTRFS. AMA.

Is it really an advantage to ext4?

Why not use ReiserFS for killer seek times?
Is there a diference between a WS GPU (Quadro/Firepro) and a general purposa/gaming GPU (GeForce/Radeon) in processing hashes and crypting/decrypt data?

normally binned better, better software and hardware support, slightly skewed drivers.
Other than that, not much. It's the exact same die as the consumer counterparts
>install chrome
>brings my usage of ram from 15% to 20%

i thought chrome was suppose to be heavier on resources?

It is heavier

>>61034840
For me its about the same on both. The only thing I hate about Firefox is that the ram usage does not drop after closing tabs forcing me to restart.
Chrome is heavy when you open a fuck load of tabs. If its only a few Chrome is fine. Also use Ungoogled Chromium.

Post some Toobie.
What do I do with old electronics? Do I recycle them, do I try to sell them somewhere?
I have a 10 year old printer that may work and I have someone's old computer, but I'm too stupid to see if anything is salvageable and/or valuable inside.
This shit is taking up room so I want to get rid of it, but what's the best way of doing it?
Oh yeah I have a few monitors too I've been holding onto. I've been telling myself that one day I would be elite and hook this stuff up and have like my own network server thingy, but that's just a pipe dream, so now I want this stuff gone.
I have another tower too, not sure what to do with it. Recycle centers that pay?
Any tests I can run to see the value of the hardware?
Should I take them into a computer store and ask them if they want it?

Why are you not using a Pentium III?
>>61034567
...because there are newer, better processors out right now?
You mean ryzen?
Who says I'm not?
the year is 2032, Intel has purchased Viacom, Nvidia, and AMD. There are no longer gpu's, just pcie cpu socket cards that can fit anywhere from 4 to 12 x86 cpu's for parallel triangle drawing via microsoft's proprietary DirectX20 API which uses Intel's Proprietary VGPUPro Instruction set featured on Intel processors. Linux is long dead and buried, and Apple has completely given up on anything that isn't ARM. The latest flagship cpu is the i12-96900mkvll, a 4 core/4 thread cpu with 4 pcie lanes and, with monthly subscription, hyperthreading and turbo boost 4.0 technology. LinusTechTips, pictured here a mere shell of his former self, is pulled from his life of constantly cranking out reviews for shitty overpriced audio equipment and scrapyard wars episodes, to answer to charges by Intel Corp related to featuring outdated cpu's in comparisons that show they were actually faster back then. Various benchmark tool vendors could not be reached for comment as to why every new arch when the tools are recompiled to only work with the latest hardware, that they give much higher numbers than any previous versions give when ran on the same systems.
