is this a meme, I've tried flux and literally doesn't do anything for me, my eyes don't feel better at night with this on, it just pisses me off by warming my screen. why use this over just turning monitor brightness down.
>>61128180
It helps me a lot (redshift not flux though). Do you use your computer in darkness? Don't.
Your circadian rhythm is affected twice as much by blue tone light as compared to red or green.
Flux changes the colour temperature of your display to move away from the higher blue tones toward the lower reddish tones as the day goes onward.
I dunno, I don't use it except when I'm on my phone in bed. The idea is that using a display will harm your ability to sleep at a normal time less if you use flux or whatever other color temperature control.
i like it, helps me get in the sleeping mood at night

This is one of the worst exploits in years and its coming right on the heels of another giant ransomware epidemic.
What sane person still willingly chooses to use Windows in this day and age? Its like being in an abusive relationship with a 300 pound crack whore with AIDS.
Good thing I'm running MSE.

meme. also
> 21:9
ultra-wide aspect ratios are literally nothing but a scam to sell you less pixels for the same diagonal "inches".
If you don't do any content creation where straight lines are important, curved can be more immersive if you're close to it for gaming or watching movies, it's a personal preference.
>>61127671
>ultra-wide aspect ratios are literally nothing but a scam
confirmed for never having owned a 21:9 display. Who cares about the total number of pixels, gaming in 21:9 is amazing. I'd take a 3440x1440 ultrawide over a 16:9 4k display any day
I'm designing a new 4chan that's eventually replacing this. It'll follow Google's Material Design principles.

Do they have to make efforts to support open source lock solutions? 'cuz that's the only downside i see.

Looking to update in general
Mainly looking to play games like Witcher III, GTA V (online), DOOM on 1080p with 60 fps
My MSI R9 390 can handle some games well but GTA V is on 720p, 50 fps feelsbadman.jpg
Any idea's /g/?
>>61124609
lower your settings you fuckdumb
>>61124752
I can get away with 720, 50 fps without overclocking or overheating.
Graphics card has never went over 65 c
Any recommendations as to what I can change to play those games at 60 fps, 1080p?
>>61124609
You should be able to run all those games 1080p60 no problem. Is that ram speed correct? If it is you should get faster ram. Try overclocking the CPU and GPU. Check AMD's control panel and force tesselation to 16x.
