how fucked am i? this is a 4S LiPo
4.5v per cell is rather over the nominal maximum of 4.2, i hope it hasnt been in that state for long. And thats assuming its 4 overcharged cells and not 3 ok ones and one WAY put of spec, you should check the cell v individually on the balance cable. Regardless i wouldnt let that pack out of my sight again.

Probably not too big of a problem. Just don't do that too often.
I want an rx 570. Why are there none in the UK? Can it really be that the crypto-currency phaggots - I mean entrepreneurs - have bought literally every one of them?
Where can I get one?

Yes, it's true. Cryptoniggers stole all your GPUs. Deal with it.
I sold mine to CEX so there's at least one out there somewhere

Is there a distro that mantains GTK2 and apps working with it?
Maybe some effort to fork it like MATE should have done?
>>61162232
Looking at the whole picture you'll see even if they exist, they'll soon (or already) have to fork X.org too because they require 3D accerlated shit. As many Distros are already systemd infested, the spread of software without support will become less. Meaning less users, less support, less developers.
>>61162357
I can't follow what you're saying. Why would these GTK2 apps need hardware acceleration and why would X no longer have hardware acceleration?
>>61162232
you're not looking for a distro but a DE. AFAIK all the GTK2 ones are switch{ing,ed} to GTK3 or Qt now.
It sounds like you want to use Xfce. They're switching to GTK3 but they're keeping everything looking the same.
I'm done with this piece of shit, recommend me a decent video player.

A friend sold a 295x2 for 640 usd. He wants to know if he could get more out of it because of miners and also they going for more on eBay.
Thoughts?

I'd pay more for a night with dat ass.

$640 for a 3 year old GPU is a fantastic fucking deal.
Plus now he won't have to deal with crossfire support being shitty and dropping his performance in half.

>hey anon we want to clean up our asset list in our SQL based application
>remove these from "the system"
"So you want these gone from the asset list, right?"
>yes
"OK"
>>days later someone notices the assets are no longer selectable to assign work orders too
>OH THIS MUST MEAN THEY ARE GONE FOR GOOD, FUCK THEY ARE GONE AND ALL THE WORK ORDERS
>WHAT DO WE DO SHOULD WE ASK THE SOFTWARE VENDOR OR EVEN OUR EMPLOYEE (me) THAT KNOWS MORE ABOUT THE SYSTEM THAN ANYONE ELSE?
>NAH FUCK THAT LETS PANIC AND CALL IT AND HAVE THEM DO A FULL WEEKS ROLLBACK
So I clock in-
>WTF ANON WHY ARE HUNDREDS OF OPEN ORDERS AND WORK TICKETS GONE AFTER WE DID A SYSTEM ROLLBACK
>RE ENTER ALL OF THESE BY HAND ASAP
"why was this done"
>YOU DELETED THE SERVICE HISTORY ON THESE (more panic)
"the service history is there, if you want then categorized again per asset just re type the 10 assets back into the system as searchable fields"
So I called IT and undid the restore, we lost half a days worth of stuff. Got more or less blamed for it all even though I unfucked it.
Ever since the last update my Waterfox installation has been having crazy CPU usage spikes, especially on Youtube. We're talking spikes of 80-90% CPU usage on a 4690k just trying to pause a Youtube video.
Anybody else having this issue?
Same fucking thing with pale moon, only worse.. 120%
Were you using flashplugin? or html5?

Hey /g/, I need to find a replacement tv for the one in my office.
Which tv brand will spy on me the least? Even better, which tv should I buy under 50 inches that won't spy on me at all?
Budgets not really an issue.
>>61161689
just avoid "smart" tvs
>>61161720
Is that even possible these days?
>>61162078
really cheap tvs probably don't feature it
also monitors, since they're never intended to be used away from a computer.
a decently sized monitor is probably more expensive than an equivilent tv though
It has started to become clear that miners are ruining the market as such I think all GPU manufacturers should do something to solve this. They are driving up prices to the point of killing other more diverse markets, and they are reselling broken cards and damaging consumer trust.
As such I would propose a twopronged solution. First all GPU manufacturers should create revision of their cards that permanently mark themselves as mining cards the instant they are used for mining.
Additionally all newer cards should have either a method of destroying their silicon or a deep mechanical method of preventing consumer cards from mining.
Finally All GPU manufacturers should release commercial grade only miner cards. With Commercial tiered pricing so lowest cost atleast $1000. these cards will have no block or devices to destroy themselves if they mine. They will also lack Video output in order to protect the consumer
If you are mining you are part of a commercial enterprise. The industry needs to treat them like it and governments need to treat them like it and go after their reckless tax evasory asses.
install gentoo
eventually (sooner rather than later) difficulty will increase and it won't make sense to use GPUs anymore
>>61162356
it's not happening fast enough. miner scum needs to be ended rightly lololol
