If you run Firefox, do this in about:config
dom.ipc.processCount
set it to 4 or above
Restart and Firefox is fast again.

Switched from Chrome and FF is now way faster imo. So much better than chrome if you are a power user with many tabs open.

Also check in about:support that multiprocess is enabled

how long should one keep his phone before buying another? i know all about custom roms, debloating and overclocking. having always bought a new phone every other year in my life, i feel a little bad when i see people using their phones for a lot longer period than i have ever done. i bought my s7 edge a year ago by the way.

Look into other options as well. You can get totally anonymous RDP sessions and 100% fresh proxies that are obtained for you and resold off in proxy lists when you're done with them.
