How do I view one computer's entire filesystem from another (Windows)? I got a new computer but it doesn't have room for as many hard drives so I want the old one to just share everything so I can access it at my leisure. I've tried sharing an entire drive and turning off all the password protection, checking all of the permissions, and my new PC still says I don't have permission to access the old one. I'm Admin on both. They're connected via wifi network but I also tried a cable between them and nothing changed.

Take it to geek squad if you cannot figure out file sharing
>>61180384
Nigga they're on the same homegroup and everything, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can see stupid fucking media files and shit between the two computers but nothing else. I want the whole motherfucker to be shared.

Ok I have MacOS. What's next?

All right niggers let see them, and talk shit as who has the better build.
It's not much, but I bought it secondhand when it was barely functioning and gave it new life, so I'm proud of it. Initially it came with an i7 920, 6GB of RAM, and a GTX 460.

Hey, I love Rust too. But Rust feels so... restrictive. I mean you cannot add perform i8 + i32! Neither can you do Option<i32> (Some<i32>)+ i32! This is intense! Of course, the result = explicit conversions everywhere which makes itself harder to read.
Then again stuff like 22/7 is allowed. I wonder why didn't it choose to be strict and prevent the truncation.
Also suppose you are doing some procedural/linear-imperative style programming.let a = 15;
//...
let x = &a;
//...
let y = &a;
//...
//Now you want to change a
//damn I have to go back and change mut a. Fair enough, let's do it.
//Then you realize you may have to change the mutability of x and y accordingly
let x = &mut a; //definately out of the table -- Risk of data race or dangling pointer
I mean these are not bad practices but these make it hard for a new comer to get into Rust. Specially if you are coming from a very tolerant language like Python or D etc.
"Hello world".println!; //won't compile
For fuck's sake, what's the point of UFCS then :(
>>61180027
All you need to do to is to wrap the borrow in a scope:
let a = 15;
{
let x = &a;
//....
let y = &a;
} // <- borrows end here
/// Now you can mut borrow
let x = &mut a;

Last time I checked:
No SIMD

No ++ and --
Is rust still retarded? I want to like it, but it feels like those python PEP-8 shills that enforce their preference on you and tell you to treat it like the law.

You work hard all your life to make a great tech project, and this guy walks in, steals your idea and sells it for billions with him claiming all the fame and glory
What do you do?
Create a decentralised internet.

Did I make 10s of billions?
Thats exactly how Steve Jobs and Bill Gates got rich. Only they were nerds stealing from other nerds.

But they will?
The thing is, they can be anything, but the problem is in reverse engineering the micro processor architecture. Is that feasible?
For now the PowerPC and Intel stuff are hard not soft.

Hey guys, I want to expose a pastor in my area who's been sending lewd pics to women online. This guy has a massive church and a huge following and I don't think its morally right for him to be praying for little children and behaving like this in the shadows. So my question is: If I want to expose someone online, what would be the best way of doing it? VPN and a fake email/facebook account?

Text editors are text editors. Use what allows you to edit text. You don't need many features more than search and replace. (If you do, just create a script for it.) Whatever works in your work environment is good. If you can get something fancy, that's just a bonus.

Ed is the standard text editor.
