I like your description of "highest/ultra" settings as a level difficulty setting.

I bought an Asus K53Z, some chinkydink Asus laptop, back in 2012ish.
It has an AMD A4, 4 Gigs of ram, 250GB, an HD display, and a full keyboard w/ numpad (keys on the numpad are skinny-tall so offset is MINIMAL). Only thing it lacks is a point stick and the Thinkpad build quality.
Guess what it cost me, 290 and yet it beats out just about every new 2017 laptop I see on Amazon. I wouldn't buy the K53Z today but it goes to show how SHIT laptop manufactures have become.

what is this? blender? I'm pretty sure it has 4-5 skins by default
so, i recently got a smart phone after avoiding having one from a very long time, so....i'm basically learning from zero to use this thing.
The thing is, i searched for actual useful apps and a i found a decent programing course(SoloLearn), stuff for learning other languages and some calculators but....is that it? is that all the useful stuff i can get? i was expecting more gadgets and useful things but i didn't find anything especial
Do you know any useful apps? like things that can actually be useful in real life?
TL;DR
Do you know any apps that are actually useful ??

Shit what the fuck?
I was just using my T420 when it just shut off and won't turn back on when powered either by battery or the power supply with the battery removed.
What the fuck happened?
I tried googling it and tried some things but no response.
I tried starting it with and without the battery and power adapter.
I tried to remove battery, hold power button for 30 sec, plug in power adapter, try to power on. Nothing. And I noticed when I have the power plugged in, the indicator led on the back of the lid doesn't light up.
My old faithful is like a dead brick. HELP ME /G/. I bought this thing from eBay in I think 2014, but haven't used it very much for the past year because I bought an x220 I've been dailying.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

You can wear a black hoodie, just to start.
>>61195570
No, you need to don the official hacker garb. You can pick it up at your local Hot Topic or similar high-end clothing store. Make sure to get a trench coat too.

Most likely because the team is deploying changes. Wait for a bit and refresh the page. It should be mostly stable now.

For what tasks does /g/ still prefer pen and paper?
>>61195384
Whenever I do math or econometrics (i.e. statistics) work. Nothing better than some good pen and paper.
Then LaTeX obviously.
doing math equations and taking notes
taking notes from a phone call is about the only time i use pen and paper.
That and at work.
Anyone know shit about cell phone towers?
Sprint is claiming that I have perfect coverage in my area according to their maps, but I don't get SHIT for coverage around my area. Is there shit I could do to boost my coverage at all?
What do you mean by shit for coverage?
Also, they could just be lying to you so you stay with Sprint
Also, where do you live?
>>61195361
you can buy cell reception boosters, but you need to install an ariel onto you house and will be limited to yout house.
Short of getting Sprint to increase coverage you are fucked.
>>61195361
Used to install towers if that helps :)
Is there a program out there that could input codes for me as they appeared on screen?
I've used pre-recorded macro's before for many things but nothing for dealing with random inputs.
>>61195320
wat
>>61195777
Okay, so a program will generate a list of buttons it wants you to press, in my scenario it's a chain of 6 directions (up,down, left, right, left, right).
I'm looking to find a program that can read this list and then repeat the input back accordingly. Some sort of a macro perhaps? But it would need to be able to read the commands.
