All BD's now use H264, even though it had support for VC1 or whatever the Microshit version was called.
People don't get it, no one cares about open source shit.
Licensed codecs have better support in general.
Also Intel supports hardware decoding of HEVC and so do iPhone A-Series ARM processors.

You're welcome desu. It indeed feels comfy. I still use it for editing systems and my git commits but use sublime for code dev.
It's indeed very comfy and it feels right at home with alot of editing tasks. It's a good tool to keep in the toolbox. I use it as well as a combo of other editors... whichever suits the task and feels most comfy.
