Yes officer, hire me please.
Speccing out a breaddipper workstation. What are the chances that the X399 version of this board will cost the same as its X299 counterpart (MSI Pro Carbon AC - $350)?
>>61583728
>3 m.2 slots
>all spaced out x16 slots for 4 way sli/crossfire
>dual usb 3.0 headers
Honestly it looks like MSI's board is not configured for the average enthusiast. I expect it would be more expensive. The people who would buy one for those features have money to throw around
Yeah I guess I can see it being more expensive on account of the extra m.2 slot and more importantly that huge-ass socket.
>all spaced out x16 slots for 4 way sli/crossfire
I think every single X399 board shown so far has four equidistant x16 PCIe slots.
>>61583804
What really sucks is that the chipset doesn't allow for more than 3.5 gigabytes per second, so the operations to a m.2 raid0 would be limited, and bottlenecking any connected sata devices. It really messes shit up, like the fact that you cannot transfer things easily from M.2 to HDD or sata SSD, because of the IOs loading up the chipset.
Excuse me but...what the fuck is this? I only have 3 monitors and in single monitor mode I get this shit.
you been hakd
But you have multiple displayport-ports and ea h of it is capable of multiple monitors
I realy like displayport

Why do you want girls to learn programming /g/? Is it because you wanna have sex with a coder?
So they can shut the fuck about it.
The only people pushing for roasties to get into programming are companies that want to lower wage costs and insane feminists and the occasional white knight beta
>>61583346
But my waifu already knows how to program.
Looking to see if it's possible to splice a USB type c into a USB type a connector. Need one on the fly and don't have time to order one. Also, can't find ANY info on this on the webs. I only need data to work. Any info would be appreciated.

Shameless bump
hey guys, so recently, i felt i was being a good samaritan, made a fake gmail to message a woman that her husband was in an affair, kind of as an FYI to her. as I should have expected, she does not take it well, accuses me of "threats" (no such were made) and claims she is turning all emails over to her lawyer and local sheriff office.
so much for a good deed right? should I be worried?
nah, she's gonna feel fucking stupid when she finds out he's actually cheating on her
>>61582971
i'm convinced he is, and I can understand the denial and wanting to attack me if so. but do her threats have any merit on a fake name gmail?
will the police actually try to pursue a guy telling a woman her husband is cheating?
>>61582954
did you at least send her pics? otherwise yeah it'd be pretty suspicious to most people
They actually did it.

I'd like to learn Linux
where to start? Which videos to watch? (and books/websites)
Videos are good because you see things happening in real time
Thanks
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

Greetings /g/entlemen, I am currently in China, and going back home in a couple of days.
Friend has a wedding, and, they could use matching phones.
I wanted to get pic related, it's out of stock.
Could you recommend me a decent phone which could be flashed to run official European firmware (not LineageOS, since they aren't tech savvy).
I was thinking of OnePlus, couldn't find one.
I am not sure which XiaoMi RedMi to get...
Any help would be appreciated.
