So there went all hope for the last legal alternative
Just turned 18, I have no credit card, no driving license, no social media, nothing.
How do I get these things (excluding social media) without falling for the BOTNET?

>>61587368
linux is not an option on this specific Setup.
> deleted windows 32 bits
Why not install the 64 bits on top of it

Does your usb boot on another pc?
Maybe you've set it wrong
>Windows symbol flashed for a couple of seconds
It's either that your usb is not working well (you failed to create a bootable usb), or there still is the old windows.
GIVE more details
>2017
>not using Windows
Are you autistic, a pedophile or both?
>Windows is shit!
It's not, if you're not hopeless with computers and reboot regularly.
>it's expensive!
Who forces you to buy a licence? One should be attached to your computer anyhow.
>b-but it's botnet!
Nothing to hide, nothing to fear you fucking C malloc.

while on topic, can anyone link me to a full copy of Win 10 Ent LTSB? Also, when I do install it, what steps should I take to achieve /ourOS/?

Here's a (you)
Phone retard coming over, I'm looking to upgrade from Samsung On5, any good phone recommendations? Anything but Apple.
Looking at Lenovo A7700 currently. Any negatives w/ it, or other alternatives? Used phones are OK.

Low price ? Mi5 or Mi5X
>>61587171

3 cameras, just why? I never use front camera and will only use one on the back.
>>61587201
Mi5X has a memory card slot I think but Mi5 doesn't. It's 240$ anyways.

But... but... systemd...
Debian. I run testing on all my desktops and laptops, and stable (Jessie, soon Stretch) on servers.
so you are telling me you use linux on an thinkpad but dont libreboot?
>>61586980
im telling you to install windows and get on with your life...
>>61586980
I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux!
>>61586980
No, I don't use Trannyboot. I use Coreboot with the SeaBIOS payload. You don't actually need the Intel ME to be disabled either. Just use ME Cleaner to remove the parts of the firmware that give it network access and then it's not dangerous anymore.
Why even put in the effort into C++ when you can literally become a master at C with the first book and a reference manual?
>>61586820
There is a reason why C++ is called C++, do you know why?
>>61586883
cuz it's A++ shit?
>>61586820
you don't need that book to learn c
>>61586820
Did you guys use books to learn programming?
can you install windows on a libreboot laptop?
I need windows for running cygwin I dont have a feeling it will run nice in wine
>>61586764
well its a bios/uefi replacement so i dont see why not
>windows
that kinda defeats the point of installing libreboot tho.
>>61586764
why would you want to use cygwin if you have GNU/Linux???
>>61586764
No, it won't. Windows is shit anyways. If you really need a free and open source BIOS replacement then use Coreboot with the SeaBIOS payload. That usually works with Windows.
So, here we go. You just installed a fresh machine. You need to power it now and you can only pick 5 applications to install.
Which ones do you install?
I start:
tmux
python
ffmpeg
youtube-dl
atom
>>61586708
linux
>>61586708
systemd
emacs
ssh
gcc
ocaml
git
Just installed Manjaro on my /Fag/book Pro. Wat nah?
install mac OS
>>61586640
Install a better distro.
>>61586704
I have it on dual boot famm.
Next shitpost.
Ok so I want to build a decent gaming PC, but I don't know very much about computers. Can someone please link me a PCPartPicker build? My budget is 300-400. Thank you
