Back threads never seem to last long on /fit/. Show what all those deadlifts have been for.
Thanks mang. 6', 175 lbs.
335 atg skwat.
Nothing too impressive strength wise but strength obviously isn't my primary concern. Just hopped onto a ppl, trying to get my weight up.
How to develop bigger spinal erectors and an overall thicker back??
I deadlift 200kg for reps but still nothing
Mirin everyone in this thread, giving me motivation for my tiny back.
Max dead is 210kg, bodyweight 78kg. Lats need work
Also 6'0 175. I swapped to PPL a year ago, Gains are amazing. Make sure to keep your cals/sleep in check though, going from 3 days on Texas M to 5-6 days on PPL was rough at first, especially as a natty.
As fedora as it sounds I've always held myself to ridiculous standards so that I keep pushing myself in the gym.
Lurking /fit/ for ~3 years also fucks with your standards admittedly.
It's a good thing to have high standards for yourself, but it's not a good thing to set them so high that you'll never reach them and always be disappointed. Admit what you've achieved and be appreciative for it. Then set a new goal.
Agreed. I don't lurk /fit/ these days, but when I used to, I also felt the false power creep when it came to standards. You start to forget what normal people achieve.
Wasn't fat or really skinny fat, just Meh (played sports as a teen/Was in military). I bulked up 50lbs to 225, then cut to 175 over 2 years, gaining 1lb/week, then cutting 1lb a week. Right now im eating +200 surplus and trying to gain pretty slowly. I take an extra rest day every other week, but I've been able to make good progress. I count my cals and make sure to get enough sleep.
