I have fairly wide hips like this guy, and im pretty much skinnyfat atm, i reacently started working out but i really dont want to have this shape, how can i make my hips smaller/look smaller?
He doesnt have wide hips, because he has fine shoulders to hips ratio, he just has big waist, so it looks like he has wide hips. I wouldnt mind about that if i were you (if you look like guy on your pic)

I'm in the exact same situation (pretty much same body as right pic when I breathe out) and so far I found nothing that makes my body look acceptable. It sucks, but in the end it's all about letting go of the idea that you can ever reach your goal body. You are fucked, but you can at least try to make the best out of it. I don't know why I even keep going, I know I look like shit and will look even shittier after my cut (before lifting, I had weak shoulders too, so it's at least somewhat better). There are other benefits of fitness though.

Ignore idiots that say you cant fix that. Your intercostal muscles are weak. You need to train your core with heavy squats and dl for years. Also lifting heavy stuff over your head. Oly lifting would be best.

It's hard as fuck to stay motivated without being able to see any of your gains. It's even worse to know you'll only look good if you do plastic surgeries, and knowing all your gains will melt while you recover.
Look at the bright side OP, at least it doesn't look like you need any surgeries.
