There is no point, if you simply want to lose fat. Doing cardio does burn more calories, though, allowing you to lose fat (and probably some muscle since you are cutting so quickly) faster.

hi op, i've also felt like cardio was dumb since most of my aesthetic benefits have been from lifting and cutting. however, doing cardio is important for your cardiovascular system. it's pretty fucked up to have a ton of muscles but not be able to run a single mile. the only way you can keep your heart strong is to exercise it with intense cardio. its good for your lungs for some reason. anyways, it jsut makes you feel clean and does something with your blood. idk i personally feel great after i do cardio.

I don't think so, the only aspects I'd assume are bad are if you're already hypertensive and over-exert your already taxed heart, somehow managed to fuck your sodium/potassium levels, or have an arrhythmia/palpitations that you've been warned about. Other than that, being in the danger zone probably puts you at risk for dehydration which can equally fuck you up.
