ITT: BODY HACKS, TRICKS, TIPS
Besides lifting what are some other options for physical self improvement that you do for yourself?
I recently moved to Germany and I think I saw the sun maybe 5 times in the past couple months cause ITS ALWAYS FUCKING RAINING, so now that I'm pale as fuck, my acne scars are more visible and my skin looks grimy like everyone elses here.
Ways to improve skin, ways to give it a natural glow from the inside, foods/drinks to cut back on for tighter skin or get rid of puffiness. Ways to get rid of bags under the eyes or improve facial hair growth/patchiness.
Things like that. Even if it's just some old trick your grandparents told you, placebo effects are proven to work.
If your hair is starting to fall out, don't shave it off, fight back.
3: Nizoral shampoo.
Get generic Proscar (have your doctor write you an RX). Proscar is 5mg of Finasteride (propecia is 1mg of Finasteride) used to treat BHP. Get a $3 pill cutter from walmart and cut them into quarters. This means $9 for 120 days of propecia, whereas getting actual name brand propecia is around $70 or so a month. Tell your doctor that you can't afford name brand, and that Proscar is LITERALLY the exact same thing as Propecia, just a 5x stronger dose. Most people can be sympathetic towards wanting to save money. Just be upfront and honest with him. If you don't have a doctor, PLEASE DO NOT GET GENERICS ONLINE!! Pay for one doctor visit (or a dermatologist visit) and then get the RX for Proscar. You will STILL pay less overall for that than you will getting generics online. Source? I did generics for 4 years before I wised up. I think I paid around $30-$40 a month for generics. You'll save money in the long run, so long as it's not $400+ for one doctor visit.
Get generic rogaine from walmart. Start with 1 month of the liquid and see how it works. Only get 1 month to start because it MIGHT irritate your scalp (PPG is the delivery vehicle, and some people get really itchy where it's applied [I had a horrible itch]). If it doesn't bother you, then after a month get the 3 month supply (I say liquid because it has a slightly better rate of growth than the foam). If it bothers you (either because it's itchy or because it feels like it makes your hair too greasy), then get the 3 months supply of Rogaine foam.
i take finasteride and it works. my hair stopped thinning, and actually got a little bit thicker after 6 months. you need to take it when you first start going bald, i started when i noticed a ton of hair falling out in the shower, and someone noticing a thin patch in the back.
no side effects. i think the sides are grossly exaggerated.
as someone who's never really had acne problems**
>don't eat greasy food and if you do, don't touch your face
>wash your pillow cases every week
>scrub your face in the shower
of course, it's possible you do all of this and still have acne, so if it's that bad, see a doctor like anon said
**I'm also a manlet, so maybe I never fully went through puberty
>>don't eat greasy food and if you do, don't touch your face
>>wash your pillow cases every week
>>scrub your face in the shower
I didn't do any of these, and I never suffered from acne, save for those few stray pimples I had during my high school years. Having acne all over your face means you have shit tier skin genetics
not saying you're wrong, but there's definitely more at play than genetics
like anything to do with humans, some stuff is genetics, while others can be influenced
keeping a clean face won't hurt you though so it's a good thing to do

DOCTORS HATE HIM! CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT WHY
get this tumblr teir shit out of here
Want a real body hack? Work out regularly, eat a balanced diet with plenty of protein, get plenty of sleep and you'll have a good body
Here are some tricks I picked up from the guys at my old gym:
>try to eat wheat bread instead of white; brown bread is from free-range chickens and will be non-GMO
>masturbate with a condom, so you can collect your semen and ingest it after finishing to preserve gains
>look at gay porn before going to the gym; your brain associates bulging penises with sexual competition and will raise natural test levels
>if you want to impress a girl, break into her house and present her with wine and chocolates from her own fridge (women love surprises)
>use protection when having sex with a pregnant woman; if your seed is too strong, it could rewrite the fetus's genes and make you the father
>if you find your gf to be too high maintenance, consider finding a fuccboi from /fa/; once his colon is destroyed, find a new one
>if you're late in hitting your metabolic window, blend your postworkout meal and feed it into your asshole with a road cone
>gyno isn't the end of the world; you can drink your own breastmilk to maintain a constant anabolic state
>>use protection when having sex with a pregnant woman; if your seed is too strong, it could rewrite the fetus's genes and make you the father
You got me OP
I'll give you some unsual tips I picked up on the go. Used to play pro ball at 17, had a few pro MMA fights at 20, now owning my own startup and we just got a huge A round. Here is what I collected during all this time:
> Meditate. No maybe, no eh, no why. Meditate daily.
> Do chinups/pullups on the reg, especially while cutting.
Put a bar in your doorway, do some every time you pass (grease the groove). Not just to get better at them, but you burn more fat, keep your weight in check (if you get too fat, your reps drop) and get huge lat and biceps gains. Huge lat and biceps also fill out any shirt greatly and make you look less fat.
>Need to lose weight fast?
1 solid meal a day (make it a huge ass salad with olive oil/eggs so you can get fiber) and fill out the rest with protein shakes.
>Caffeine pills instead of coffee
Way more predictable intake, you can control it easily, enable you to wake up early in the morning (set an alarm 30 mins earlier, pop a pill, go to sleep until second alarm. you'll wake up like a god). Also, no milk, butter, sugar and other shit that people put in coffee.
>Vitamin D like mad!
Especially for your acne. Take 30 000 IU minimum.
>Don't shave at home, go to a barbershop when you want it clean, otherwise keep it low trim with a hair trimmer.
>never touch my face, rarely eat greasy food
>wash my pillow cases every week
>use light exfoliants
>take prescription antibiotics
>use benzoyl peroxide
>still get acne
one of you nignogs is going to say I should stop fucking about with my face because I'm doing too much to it and it'll fix itself naturally, and in response, I will split your urethra, because I tried that too.
Fucking shit tier facial genetics. It's not like I'm even handsome underneath the acne, it's just an extra burden.
As someone who'se never really had balding problems**
>don't eat greasy food and if you do, don't touch your scalp
>shower every other day in cold water
>conditioner once a week
of course, it's possible you do all of this and still have MPB, so if it's that bad, see a doctor like anon said
**I'm also a manlet, so maybe I never fully went through puberty
Posture makes you attractive, improve your posture, improve your look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKrEvSoG1kg
Get a dermatologist perscription to clear up your skin of acne/scarring/redness. Ask for an antibiotic ointment.
Pull your shoulderblades back and push your chest out, this is correct posture. If you're on your computer, you'll feel like you'll be reaching further to type. You are, your shoulders rolled forward is a symptom of being on the computer all the time.
Use hair conditioner rather that shaving foam/cream. Baby smooth skin and no razor pumps.
For people with keratosis pilarsis, use Euercin (high urea content helps improve and keep moisture in the skin ) if there's no improvement. Use the creams to soften your feet where you have KP.
If you are starting to develop wrinkles. You need to start using a cream (DO NOT DO PEELS AT HOME) with glycolic acid in it. Start at the lowest percentage and wear sunscreen also if you're using it. You will see a life changing difference*
*wonen actually get addicted to the change and end up upping the concentration or doing peels at home and ruin their skin. Be careful
Identify your skin type, is it oily or dry,
Is it a combination, what's your tzone like?
How often do you wash your hair?
Moisturise, and use non comedogenic moisturisers argan oil is good.
Oily, though the benzoyl peroxide helps with that.
I currently wash my hair 1-2 times a week, but have in the past washed it more often.
Have moisturised before, too.
Been dealing with this shit since I was 17, tried everything under the sun except roaccutane, and since I'm already relatively depressed, I don't want to hit suicidal.
This shit is pretty good for your skin. You can either put it in your mouth or on your skin. or both. Just mix it with water if your gonna drink it because it feels like getting throat-fucked by a spiny dicked echidnea if you don't.
I've heard some people put it in their hair too but I'm not sure why.
>Gets rid of stretchmarks
>thickens moderate loose skin (flying squirrel mode brahs need not apply)
>gets rid of wrinkles (don't use it on your nads)
>helps under eye bags
use alongside a vit c serum.
look up technique.
Accutane's just about the only thing that will reliably remove and (eventually) cure acne - at least as far as stuff that's actually on the market goes. There's some mild to moderate side effects (mostly your skin getting very sensitive if you take that stuff for a long time) but despite all sorts of horror stories that are being circulated online, the vast majority of people tolerate it just fine. Make sure your target dose is at least 40 mg after one or at most two months of ramping up, unless you're spooky or somehow don't tolerate the stuff.
Most people clear up completely and permanently in less than a year.
(Disclaimer: not a medical doctor.)
Second the cerave stuff. I use the stuff in the white and blue plunger bottle every morning and night. I apply it to my slightly damp face after washing with a sebamed cleansing bar. Tried a lot of brands for stuff that cleans without raping my skin and thats the only combo that seems to do it.
Also I use stridex red pads after washing at night (before moisturings) to exfoliate. I tear the pads in half so one tub lasts twice as long.
That's only half the puzzle though. Skin is mostly what you put into your body, not on it. I drink a big glass of carrot juice every evening for the beta carotene and supplement 50mg zinc and 400mg mag citrate every evening before bed (crazy dreams and morning boners).
Also vit d3 10,000 UI every morning in winter (5,000 in summer).
All this in combo pretty much made my skin the best it's ever been. Used to be greasy as fuck, blogged pores, blotchy and red and just sickly looking. Now I've actually had girls tell me my skin is glowing and shit and ask me what I'm using.
Everyone says to wear sunscreen too but I cba with that especially not here in England.

You've been tricked.
Have you not heard?
Anyone that is actually weak minded enough to fall victim to these meme images, even "just to be safe" will now never achieve the desired effects, and actually be cursed with the opposite.
The exception of course being trips.
I never had spots when I was a teenager, but these last few yearsd (from 18-20) my skin becomes absolutely disgusting throughout the winter months then seems to clear up in the summer. Its just the skin on my forhead weirdly enough and l keep my hair very short so it can't be due to a fringe or anything.
Anyone have similiar ecperiences? Anyone have tips to stopping this for good? My forehead looks like bubblewrap at the moment and it ruins the aesthetics of my otherwise okay face
>didn't make an image
>things he has powers
>falling for rogain/JUST SHAVE IT BRO
saw palmetto made me get extermely thick fully hair
top kek and it only cost like 8 bucks with no negative side effects
Ever since I moved out of mom's house, I been able to stock the food i need
>veggies, brown rice, meat, some fruit
Having veggies as >50% of my diet cleared my acne. Imagine a dorky Asian with lots of zits
>apple cider vinegar
For clear skin and preventing colds, kidney stones, bladder infections
>fermented cod liver oil and butter oil
I have super dry skin during winter so I take 2tablespoons/day and it works wonders to moisturizer my skin from the inside out
BEWARE IT TASTES GROSS
>no snacks or frozen foods like my mom got
As a result:
>hair grows faster and thicker
>no under eye dark circles
>hardly any acne anymore
>lost fat, gained muscle
>stopped overly caring about how I look
I curl my eyelashes, lightly use an eyebrow pen, and chapstick but that's it. I have shittons of bare minerals and MAC makeup but I break out in acne every time I use it. I've convinced myself that it's colored, powdered, chemical paint.
Doing it right
Skin is literally baby smooth
>Do cardio. Tons. Minimum 1 hour every other day
Sweat makes you radiant, also the endorphines really elevate your mood
>Eat tons of dark chocolate
After about 60 gram you'll experience dat euphoria. I eat around 100 grams a day.
>Have sex. Lots.
Eat a dessert spoon or two of coconut oil every morning. It increases libido, keeps your test up, improves your skin tone and your hair and so on... Basically just a really full healthy fat.
I put my spoonfulls into some black coffee because it's pretty fucking rich to just eat by itself. Makes me gag.
Some shit that helped me.
Go to the sauna for 30 minutes every day preferable post training to save time. You can meditate in there if you get bored and work on heat tolerance. Can combine this with cold showers throughout the 30 minutes at 10 minute intervals. Try and sit at the top of the sauna.
I had a bunch of different people comment on how amazing my skin looked & I'm a man. Talking attractive women. Talking men too.
10,000iud vit D on a daily
5,000mg EPA+DHA fish oil. Preferably with a higher DHA content.
I try and cram as much vegetables and into my life as possible and reached a point where I couldn't eat more without eating less of everything else so started making green shakes in the morning and drinking them throughout the day.
Meditate daily. Provides emotional stability and a buffer between your decision making self and your instant reaction to whatever you experience.
BREHS, if I'm the most /fit/ guy in my uni yoga class will I look like a douche try hard yolo bro if I'm wearing jogger sweats and a wife beater? The class is filled with some cuties and most of the dudes are dyels and only like one other dude has ever worn a tank in there, I'm too much of a pussy to talk to girls but would females be more likely to approach me if I'm showing off the gains or will I just look like a douche bag? I'm pretty good looking by the way.
if you have white stubble, as in baby hairs covering a good amount of area, use minoxidil 5% covering those areas. ive been using it for only a month and ive noticed fuller coverage with darker adult hairs
Tired of always lying about being 6 ft when you're really 5'10 or 5'11?
Stretch your body every day because almost everyone's spine is significantly compressed.
Spinal Decompression exercises(hanging on the pullup bar, chilling on the leg raises stand) will net you 1-2 inches. Yoga will also do this and is an easy way to pull bitches.
My personal thoughts on this.
Meditation from a spiritual standpoint is at a crossroads with 'meditation' from a psychological standpoint.
Psychologists doing REAL scientific research have discovered the power of 'mindfullness'
Basically not giving weight to your thoughts and simply observing them. Separating what you perceive as 'you' from the thoughts and emotions that your brain experiences from its own processes and external stimuli.
This is basically what most forms of meditation do, by setting time aside to NOT be driven by instinct you can be more at peace, and more clearly think about things, as well as find more contentness.
