Its hard for us lankets with long legs. Im so bottom heavy I could be a runway model if I was a chick. It didn't take me a year but it took about 6months to start doing 2pl8 for reps, and that was after like 3mo of doing leg presses.

I'm on dialysis for kidney failure and anaemic and I am well on my way to 2pl8 after 4 months. When I started, I failed a couple of sets with just the bar.

I'm full Auschwitz and went from squatting the bar to hitting 80kg in under two months.
I'm guessing a pl8 in US terms is 45lb? That's about 20kg. I'm at 100kg now, so that's two plates per side, plus the bar.
Not impressive in the grand scheme of things, but if I can do it, you can too.

i call absolute bullshit this has got to be bait
been lifting for 5 months. i had upper body at a somewhat novice level but my legs were untrained, could only do 70kg squat for one rep max
fast forward 3 months, did 100kg 5 reps and did a 120kg one rep.
then fucked my knees up.
now i cant squat but my leg press is past its max when i was still squating
but the point is, i went from 70 to 120kg in 3 fucking months.
start fucking eating man and spend more than 12 mins in the gym
