So good or no good?
Neck work is legit. Wrestlers have to do it. But, by god, there has to be a less hilarious way of getting it done.
I have one and I really like it. I have a home gym so I do it in private, I don't think I'd ever do it in public. I don't even show it to my bros when they come over to lift once every couple weeks
It will work, but there are better ways to train your neck. Just google "neck exercises," or something to that effect.
say that to my face bro, bet you won't
>All the secrets of the universe revealed to me in an instant, this was exercise, this was me
Tbh that bondage contraption being a meme, the other day I saw the most fucking jack3d dude ever, like he look like one of those mafia torpedo's and he was doing them with one pl8, was kinda mirin
I got one after herniated discs in my cervical spine. Use it every week and never had a problem. I use dumbells and have worked my way up to 3 sets of 20 reps @ 120 lbs, doesn't really build a big neck but makes it strong & solid. Keeps my neck tight and prevents anymore disc slips.
How effective are these jerry rigged trainers?
I use it once a week. Its good because its easier than wrestler bridge neck exercises. Another one that's even easier is lay on your back, put a small towel in your mouth like a dog bone and elevate your back of the ground a bit and just shake your head like you're saying "no" back and forth. Try to whip the ends of the towel for emphasis.
mayweather does that .
ive seen a clip about a bodybuilder that was paralized bc his neck broke , but nothing else in his body broke only his neck , NOW he is paralized on his whole body.
neck training is a MUST.
I've started a thread this month about neck training. It's strange that no one ever talks about this on /fit/ but many athletes seems to train. Not gonna post all the links again but google it and you gonna find programs (they are all the same) for pilots, westlers, rugby players and boxers.
Snap city or not it's one of my goals for the year to slowly implement neck training and see what happens.
