Anyone else listen to podcasts while they lift? If so, post your favourites.
Cant listen to Karl while lifting, he makes me laugh out loud and ruin my sets. Ricky just gets insane annoying during those podcasts though, so my frustration against him could be used to improve my lifts
Not while I lift, but I've listened to every episode of Uhh Yeah Dude. Usually fall asleep to it, or listened to it when I was in school taking public transportation. I think they're funny
I don't listen to anything when I lift. I have a nice pair of cans but they got sweaty and smelled gross so I stopped using them. Now I just stand in place and stare at a wall in between sets and I probably look like a fucking retard. I notice girls give me odd looks at times and it feels bad man.
I'M SORRY I'M NOT ON MY PHONE EVERY FUCKING SECOND
>that brief period during season 2 when each show had Monkey News AND Chimpanzee that
>insecure weak manlet
when has he ever seemed insecure? guy tells people his height with no problem, sounds pretty confident in himself.
not really. I don't know too much about his martial arts career but he gave it up due to potential injuries which could be serious.
I find his podcasts fun and sometime pretty educational when a good guest is on, rogan can be motivating at times too.
Sounds like you have some issues. Commenting on others' flaws is usually a sign of your own personality problems.
Everything he does is insecure, he is quick to jump into a fight because hes a pathetic manlet overcompensating.
Absolutely terrible fighter, comic, and announcer he's never done anything great.
If you are a brain dead weed head who loves bernie sanders, sure, if you think taking DMT and shitting yourself is profound you are dumb. Guy is a retard so are you especially if you dont understand the concept of perception
>le only god can judge me
Does nobody here listen to Iron Radio? They talk weightlifting/nutrition news, give great advice, have interesting guests on
idk for me its always interesting to listen to it, especially the news bits
I used to listen legion of skanks because I like big Jay's stuff. That's most recent but it blows now. Most of the podcasts I like are funny but stupid and otherwise talentless comedians podcasts who as soon as they get a good podcast going sell out or ruin it in some way so I only get couple hours out of anything before I switch. Recommend me some /fit/. Nothing with only 1 person though I need conversation and nothing with more than 4 or 5 as it gets jumbled.
Ricky's is good though
Lol I thought he was combining "cheap as chips" with "cheapest chimps" when he says it, like one of his rockbusters where the words dont fit.
Whats your favourite Moment from the trio? I like when Karl says how Plato died from a bird dropping an egg on his head, and Ricky starts going "YOU'RE A MANIAC"
I tried listening to Mark Bell's Powercast because he interviews cool people but literally every episode I've listened to has them talking about feces for at least 20 minutes.
Otherwise I listen to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and Common Sense podcasts but they aren't really fitness related.

Agreed with >>35793974 on the laughing thing - couldn't listen to anything funny while lifting. It would either ruin a set, or people would wonder why the fuck I'm laughing at myself while lifting.
Listen religiously in the car though. I have all the XFM, Podcasts, specials, etc. Must be well over 100 hours worth.
Comedy is great for cardio because it tends to keep me more entertained and I don't mind laughing a bit while i'm doing it (I use a stationary bike at the gym)
I save the non-comedy stuff for when I'm lifting
Fuck Ricky this is better
Joe rogan is a fag like you
Probably quite a Britfag only thing, but I'm a big fan of Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (or RHLSTP as the cool kids call it).
He interviews different people, normally comedians each week. Some are better than others. The Stephen Fry one got quite dark (and made the news) because he spoke about a recent suicide attempt, and the Louis Theroux one was a bit uncomfortable what with the whole Jimmy Savile thing.
But it's normally quite light hearted and entertaining.
