Anyone else in here believe they could take down manlet fighters in the lighter weight classes like Conor McGregor?
I mean I'm 6'1, 200lbs and with 1/2/3/4 pl8 lifts. I don't see how smaller fighters could even be a challenge. I weight 60lbs more than McGregor...
As someone who was a fighter, strength doesn't help you nearly as much in terms of striking as you think it does. Plus fighting is extremely cardiovascularly intensive, I doubt most of us could go a full three rounds and be fine.
McGregor would tear you a new asshole.
I bench 120 kg for reps at his weight , so i am stronger than him , if i got six months of preparation i could take him down
>E-stating so hard.
Let's be fucking honest bro. Are you even an amateur level fighter? No or Yes? Then you get knocked the fuck out.
Are you getting paid millions of dollars to knock a fucker out? Then maybe you have a chance. If your not, get fucked bro.
That is like these fucking facebook fucks who think they can throw better then Tom Brady or some other NFL QB.
Your talking about someone who is getting paid money to fight. Someone who is in like likely 0.0001% of the population that is paid to fight. Are you 0.0001%? Doubtful.
Let's also not forget the great internet fighter of all times. Kimbo Slice...That fucker got knocked the fuck out by some 7-9 dude from Florida who was no big shit. Yet he "knocked" people out for a living on the internet. I doubt your even at that level.
TLDR: Get a reality check
Obviously anon otherwise he would compete in an open weight class instead of having his ginger Irish balls shrivel into nothing
Manlet divisions have never been anything except a joke, all they do is exclude stronger fighters because manlets are too weak to actually fight anybody.
I would crush him with superior mind power. He would crumble to my autism.
>learning to fight
i'd love to fucking see any "trained professional" fighter fuck with me and get a crowbar to the back of the head, a bullet between their teeth or something else
I'm fucked up man, you do NOT want to mess with me and everyone can tell, so no one messes with me
but one day, one of you faggots will probably try to fight me, maybe its in the gym, maybe the street, maybe a bar.
just know I'll be ready and you will -not- know what hit you
It's not just a matter of having the mass, but being able to accelerate it consistently.
Fighters know how to pace themselves to conserve energy and train specifically to generate force for striking. In other words, they're strong and fast where it counts.
You also can't forget about the amount of energy lost once you've been hit. Fighters train not only to properly defend themselves, but to keep going after being hit.
There's also the fact that fighters train in arts that utilize leverage and biomechanics to gain the upper hand without exerting much energy. BJJ, judo, and wrestling equip them to deal with larger people. If you don't have similar training, you won't pose much of a threat.
>Fighters train not only to properly defend themselves, but to keep going after being hit.
I think a LOT of people with no fighting experience disregard this important fact. Take anyone without experience and whack them really hard in the face or gut, they basically freak out and cannot function properly.
A big part of training is learning to take hits and NOT freak out, getting slugged in the face or gut and retaining critical thinking and a strategic and attentive mindset is a skill, you don't just have it by default.
I'd just Cut his Life into pieces if it's my last resort.
>b-but he's manlet! I could destroy him with my superior size!
prob if you can land a haymaker in the first round. 1/2/3/4 isn't so useful after about 1 minute into the first.
>implying he doesn't know that and would make you chase/throw wild shots for the first round.
People that think like this crack me up...
I'm not huge by any means, 5'9, 185, 1/2/3/4 easy more on some lifts.
In the real world I'm a failry well built, above average at least. I also used to fight MMA for fun.
Being stronger than other untrained people is very helpful I'll give you that, but if someone knows much more than you and has significantly more experience than you your going to lose. Also these guys are trained in the physical reactions that happen in the octagon, you won't handle being hurt, dizzy, out of breath, hot, and frustrated as well as professionals.
Your not going to beat a pro driver even in a slightly faster car, in the same way that your not going to beat a pro fighter, even in a slightly stronger body.
you do not have 60 pounds on him
145 is him drained of all the water on his body, he can probably fight at welterweight if he started eating more. Right now he probably weighs 170-175 ish without cutting water weight.
and no you can't take him down, not even fucking close, especially someone with the footworks of Mcgregor.
why do people think lifting weights make them any better at fighting than people training 24/7 to fight.
Some people are just really mean, like fucked up in head pyscho, evil inside. I've seen people like this just tear through groups of people at once. Like straight out of a movie, but without the sound effects.
Lol 1/2/3/4 is not enough to give you a big advantage over a guy who fights for a living and trains for it every day. 1.5/3/4/5 and 60lbs over his bw is maybe enough, but you'd still have to know how to fight. It's not even really about cardio since you'd probably get fucked up in the 1st round
haha keep jacking your stuby English dick to ponies and stop lying you homo.
being willing to kill someone is enough to make you ballistic
i guaretee you he wouldnt fight dirty but i would and i would kill him with my fist just straight up bite his face off and not hold back
In a pure wrestling match with no weight limit I think it's plausible that there are some untrained big guys 4u out there who could beat Conor Mcgregor purely through their weight advantage.
MMA rules in an octagon, though? Not a chance. No untrained person is going to even come close to outstriking McGregor, obviously, so their only chance would be to utilize their weight advantage (assuming this is a no weight limit fight and the untrained fighter has a significant size advantage) and go to the ground. An untrained person would never be able to catch McGregor though; he'd just dance out of the way of every single one of their clumsy takedown attempts until they gassed 2 minutes in, at which point he would punch them in the face once and the fight would be over.
you know he fights at about 170lb right? not that it matters much, Mighty Mouse could easily take you down and armbar you.
This thread is a JOKE, funny part is I'm not laughing, top kek.
I trained ten years since I was young and could probably beat up any guy who does weak ass mma, do you think anyone who is really into the art would resort to fighting for money?! Top kek
I'm six five two hundred pounds of raw unfiltered muscle. The power I generate from one haymaker has been recorded at the same psi as a shotgun blast top kek
Keep dreaming manlets
kek right m8. i been doing akido for 80 yrs and i have broken stupid mma fighters. one time 20 dudes jumped me in a bar. they had knives and shit but i just disarmed them and wrist lock the rest.
Top kek, you trying to make fun of me, fucking manlet how does my cock feel? Ask ur girl she's taken all ten thick unfiltered inches bitch. Meet me in real life top kek I'd fuck your world up manlet
I know this thread is a joke but what's the best way to translate your physical strength into fighting prowess? Surely there's a way to use the years you spent lifting to your advantage when picking up a martial art. How would you change a strength/power routine to train for fighting?
You retards are not 60 fucking lbs heavier.
>McGregor fights in the 145 class, not 140
>To make their weight classes fighters cut weight they day before their fight for the weigh in and gain as much as they can back
Connor easily fights at 170.
>I don't see how smaller fighters could even be a challenge.
You are delusional. He would fucking murder you.
Its definitely possible. You see similar (and sometimes greater) weight cuts in other sports with day-before weigh ins.
The undisputed kings of that are powerlifters in the near-top weight classes. There's guys in that lot that walk around two or three weight classes heavier than they compete at.
They know what theyre doing.
Against someone like McGregor, normies have no chance. He knows how to fight, he is immensely fast and very strong, he can take several of your punches standing still and not even feel it probably since hes so used to getting decked in the face. Having a higher 1RM bench press is not enough to beat someone in a fight.
