What's /fit/ eating?
>Tfw chicken rice and broccoli again
Noice, OP! I just had some chicken, rice, lentils and a wee bit of crème fraiche.
I just had two tuna sandwiches on wheat and an oikos banana cream yogurt. How did I do, /fit/?
>one whole chicken breasts
W0wee everybody loops like we got a big guy over here
can you try to make that look more appetizing? a little garnishing with sesame seeds, parsley flakes and a shake of cayenne will do the trick
it'll taste better too if you're into Chalupa hot sauce (or cock sauce)
WTF He's not trying to win a presentation award, he's gonna get his macros and make it.
Who gives a shit if it tastes good or looks good, that's for fat people. It's all in the numbers.
Lentil soup I made last night, pb sandwich, clementine, and diet dew.
A sandwich with spinach, and ham off the bone, put between two slices of Old Style 12 grain bread.
Sandwich had 1/4lb of ham on it
extra slice of bread
Chobani peppermint perfection yogurt
washed down with a Boylan diet root beer
Going to have tacos for dinner. Probably going to eat half a head of lettuce and three whole tomatos before I absolutely destroy the beef and beans.
Goddamn bulking feels good.
>thinking pure cockiness is going to get him through 5k calories of bland food
>not making peace with yourself by making good food that's healthy, looks good and taste godly
mental retardation at its finest senpai desu
Just finished an everything bagel with Lox that I cold-smoked myself cream cheese, red onions and capers. about to have a bowl of plain Greek Yougurt with a drizzle of honey and walnuts. Get on my level, motherfuckers. Prob gonna make some dhal this afternon too.
starting with most recent
>1 cup white rice
>egg white, 2 sausage links, hash browns
>broccoli & chicken breast
>atlantic salmon & asparagus
I forget before that, and I'm not going downstairs to grab my log for you autists. Cut cut cut.
morning omelet (3x eggs, 20g shredded emmental cheese, 50g of something with protein (shreeded beef, ham cubes, w/e), 25 grams sweet corn)
lunch 2x chicken breast (no sides)
supper 2x ground beef (no sides)
dinner morning omelet or 300ml pumpking soup (various veggies included) + 10-15g of parmesan cheese.
repeat until sick cunt
like once a month i'll have some jazmin rice w/ soy sauce at lunch or some egg noodle soup at dinner if i feel like it but i usually don't.
Already had all my protein for today so finishing off with a desert,1 banana with 2 tbsp peanut butter topped with some stevia.
Can any nutrionists help me out here? Im 19 yo 5'9 145 lbs trying to rebound a broken metabolism and wondering if 1300 cals is a safe area to work with if i wanna lose weight and build muscle. Some websites say 2,000 calories but im pretty sedentary to be honest
Because some of us have jobs, and can't have mommy dishing us up a plate of PBJ and chocolate milk on a pee break from WoW.
We eat at work, sometimes two meals.
Or we're lazy as fuckin and hate dishes...Because we have jobs and are tired as fuckin after work + training.
>one toaster strudel
>tuna salad with relish, nuts
>one greasy "make your own gyro" gyro
>6oz of chicken
More or less what I eat every day, plus a gyro. Today came out to about 2250 cals, 195g protons
How'd I do fit?
Lose weight and gain muscle don't go together. Do the first and get 100 grams of protein then you can begin the build. Also once bulking have a goal weight so you don't get scared when you start getting a little fat
idk dude i've been lifting and making sure i get 130-140 grams of protein and it's seems like it's possible i was just wondering if since i'm young would it be possible for me to fix my metabolism to the point where i could cut on 2,000 calories
Recomp is a thing, this is double true for newbies. Don't let retards convince you otherwise. Keep lifting and eating healthy and you can build muscle and lose fat.
>fix my metabolism
I'm not sure what you mean by this.
>not just trying to break bad eating habits
i used to undereat and was in starvation mode while lifting for a year, i'm just recently upping my calories and noticing my lifts shoot up. so if i keep this up though, 1300 calories 130-40 grams of protein im good?
starvation mode isn't a thing, f.am. Your metabolism is fine, your lifts are shooting up because you have more energy from not as steep of a defecit.
Keep doing what you're doing. If you feel like you need more food to function/lift well, eat more. If you start getting fat, eat less.
I wish I could find frozen pomegranates ;_; They're my absolute favourites and I can only get fresh and high quality ones for one month out of the year tops.
Anyway, enjoying my carbs today. Ran 12 miles.
Had 1 chicken tendie that I cooked 2nights ago. Then my protein shake for the day. Now contemplating what to eat for lunch. Could splurge a bit as I am only at ~400cal for the day so far with a daily goal of ~2000.
Lean, tasty, bison. For breakfast and lunch every day, then egg whites for dinner.
>mfw has 700 calories left to snack on whatever I want.
Opposite, bison has less fat then chicken.
For snacks I typically eat fruits and have a protein shake within meals, and then a few tablespoons of peanut butter to make sure I get enough fat.
And this is all on a cut of 1700 with a 1000 calorie deficit.
I bought sliced salted pork on a whim, had no idea what it was. Pan fried it, because hey it's meat and you can't screw it up.
It stunk up the whole kitchen and almost tripped the fire alarm.
I made some brown rice on the side, and ended up eating just that because the pork was basically 95% fat and a large serving of salt. I don't think you're supposed to eat it by itself.
2k Cals is a meme. I ate 3-3.5k for a year, completely sedentary and without lifting, and didn't seem to gain a pound.
I would disagree with >>35723610 though. With enough protein, a multi, and lifting, you can make gainz while burning fat. There are some key aspects to it -- you should still have some carbs with protein because of amino acid optimization, and coffee / caffeine can supposedly initiate fat burning (http://authoritynutrition.com/top-13-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-coffee/).
The consesus is .75-1 g protein / lb. weight (studies supporting the lower end of that almost exclusively).
I ate some canned chicken dumplings that have been sitting in the cabinet forever. I couldn't even finish it, just digusting.
3 months ago I would've annihilated it like a monster and enjoyed it. Is developing a gag reflex to shit food part of making it?
80/20 ground beef
bag of broccoli slaw
lots of spices
little bit of tomato paste to make it feel like chili
it came out to 4 servings of:
641 cal / 34g fat / 14g net carb(8 fiber) / 58g protein
Uncle bens mexican rice and Campbell's lamb and vegetable soup mixed together. $4 from woolies, too lazy to cook. Not too bad at all
Update, considering it took like 5 minutes to prep and most of that was waiting time, would definitely do again. Only 24g protein tho
>olive oil & butter
Goddamn its great.
>cod fish with tomato sauce
Not half as full as potatoes would make me feel.
I regularly eat 500g potatoes + some meat as a side just to feel full. I've never eaten so many potatoes in my life on a regular basis.
Potatoes and quark as a side are GOAT tier for feeling full.
Yeah fastfood is the fucking enemy on a cut. Flatmate had some flaky pastry shit lying around, had like 5 of them while talking to them in the kitchen, looked up the calorie content afterwards, in for 400kcals.
Not feeling full in the least. Could've been 2 chicken breasts and one fucking kilo of mixed veggies.
I had a feeling i needed to eat more, i used to lift daily but since fixing my macros its more around 4-5 days a week, 6 if im hyped regardless but ive added rest days because I noticed better results with them. I really need to see a nutritionist so i can find out forsure
literally same dinner every day
>tuna, peas with spirali
>anchovies, peas with spaghetti
>sardines, peas with penne
all in tomato sauce, cycle them not to get bored each 400g tin of tomatoes is 2 meals
also gotta have those apples, 70%+ Dark choc and Red wine
piss easy to eat healthily
Ate a decent portion of Scrambled eggs with tomato and onion
1 small onion
1 small tomato
half cup of milk
salt and pepper
1 tsp of butter to saute onions in.
melt butter in the pan, put onions in for about 5-10 minutes, until they start to get that gold-ish color. Then add tomato diced into the pan, and stir that for about 5 minutes so you don't burn anything and it cooks through properly.
Add in your milk+eggs+salt and pepper mix, and continuously stir it until it gets to the fluffy, full texture and consistency.
top with salt and pepper to taste.
Followed it with an apple sliced up and a banana.
Still hungry, but I haven't eaten anything else all day. That, and I'm at 103kg and ate nothing but shitty food for the last 2 years, I need to be a TAD strict with myself now.
