Hey /fit/
What is the best time of the day to work out/do cardio? Before or after meals? I usually go jogging mornings but recently due to time constraints I might only be able to do at-home cardio, and at night even.
What do?
bump because curious

It doesn't really matter what time of day you do it at, but if you're training seriously you should have a small meal of oats or something and give yourself around an hour before training

this is what i do if i'm training in the morning btw, if you're training in the evening and you've eaten something that day it doesn't really matter

what about having a full meal before doing cardio?

If you pig out just before, you're gonna suffer throughout you're work out. Unless you give your body time to digest, that food is just going to sit like a rock in your stomach as your blood is rediverted from digestion to supplying your muscles. You should in general not train without eating but you're asking for a bad time if you eat something heavy just before your workout.

Cardio is best in the morning before breakfast.
Weights is best late afternoon.

Don't ever fucking reply to me again.

Cardio while fasting supposedly makes for better "stubborn fat" removal.
Cardio while not fasting supposedly burns more fat in general.
Cardio straight after having a full meal might be vomit inducing, maybe wait some time before going.

You apparantly kill your muscles by doing cardio without eating, unless it's a really light excercise. So I heard anyway, Besides I always feel I can do more if I've had a light meal.
