Literally the hardest bit is getting to the gym. Provided you warm up properly the lifting bit is fun and enjoyable because of the endorphins & adrenalin. So just tell yourself the hardest part is simply putting your gym clothes on and getting your ass to the gym brah. Have coffee and a good a meal about two hours beforehand also.

I'm 103kg, 6'1, overweight, and I'm currently in intense amounts of DOMS after working squats, leg press, bench press and shitloads of accessory workouts as well as cardio 2 days ago.
Today I went for a 5km walk just to pick up some paint brushes in 40degree (celsius) heat.
I'm broke because of a slow start at my work with training, but I can afford to buy my membership next week. I've been going once a week with my buddy as a guest.
Even though I'm in pain/sore, probably dehydrated and having to get up early to work tomorrow, if somebody offered to take me to the gym after my shift, I would say yes in a hearbeat.
A fat fuck that has piss poor control of their diet and lifestyle choices has more motivation to hit the gym than you do.
