Ive been told to just lift while eating at maintenance level because i have lmao0muscle.
Did someone do that? can you post before and after pics while eating at maintenance?

I've basically been eating at maintenance since July, wish is when the picture of me at 145 was taken. I increased my protein intake and have really buckled down on eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, but I'm doing about 1,800-2,000 calories a day. I've lost some fat but I've definitely gotten stronger. I'm not really one to talk though since my bench still hasn't broken 200. Most of my process has been relatively casual.

Yep, I know. Dealing with the mental block I have about forcing myself to gain weight after being fat for most of my life has been tough, but I'm working through it. Not trying to use that as an excuse, that's just what's been my main problem. Been eating more for the last month or so and really pushing myself. Also been hitting the lat pulldown quite a bit and seeing progress in strength.

This is like a year and 2 weeks. I would have gotten farther but I was slacking because of being tired from a shift work job. I got back on track and I'm hoping to reach 160 by the end of march.

Actual lifting time frame has been 3+ years but I've had decent amount of time off not lifting throughout due to various reasons.

Really wish I had taken pictures the day I started working out but of course I didn't. I found a really old notebook where I wrote down my shitty routine and my first day I was 6' 135 lbs.

I was about 185lbs 8 months ago, "cut" (without really watching my diet, just started lifting) to 148 (left pic) and have recently started bulking (up to 156.6 now.) I've been bulking for a month, and feel like I've gained probably a bit more weight than I should have in the form of fat, but I'm remaining optimistic.

It's my first bulk ever so I'm working on trying to dial in my calorie intake exactly, which is a little tougher than I first expected.

Caught myself last week starting to get sloppy on my form for some lifts, which was demoralizing, but I deloaded a bit this week and it's back to normal, expect to keep going next week.

Basically the pics show a month progress so far, I know it's not much but it definitely feels good. Gonna see if I can find a pic of me prior to lifting at all.

It's very slow progress but I was making a few mistakes when I began that I have since fixed, I think. Have always been fairly skinny but feels good to actually put on some weight

I'm probably getting nowhere at the moment, so feel free to say I'm doing it all wrong, I'll keep trying to improve

I don't really see a lot of short term progress here, so I guess I'll post mine.

I weighed 175 in the first photo (Summer) but had the same muscle build as of 2 Weeks ago.

Honestly I feel like it's going better than expected. I weigh 158 now (cut all December). I've still got some man tits but not nearly as bad.

I've focused on just my arms the past few weeks. (As far as weights go) and like I've said, I'm very happy with the progress.
