also, I'd like to add that you build a strength base. Your first year is literally gains after gains. Beginners don't come out superhuman in their first year, but you go from weakfag to pretty solid lifts in that year. After the year and half to two year mark progress will slow down.
Give yourself a year to make some hella good gains, get your diet and training down, and build up that strength base.
