It will soon be that time again lads. What is your meal plan? What are your goals for this summer? Keto or flexible dieting? Go
I started doing IF a week and a half ago after not seeing much progress with doing a normal cutting diet.
I'm doing a 16-17 hour fast, but during that 7-8 hour feeding window, I always OVER eat.
Any tips on stopping this from happening? Also, is overeating affecting the IF a lot? From what I read, people who did IF would eat at a caloric surplus and STILL lose fat.
Umm...I don't think so...what am I doing that's so retarded?
What do you mean you didn't see progress on a cutting diet? You either ate below maintenance or you didn't.
Maintenance for me, according to MFP, was 2,000 calories a day. I'd eat between 1600-1800 cals a day for 2 months. I ended up losing like 5 lbs, but I kind of wanted to see faster progression. Therefore, I decided to add IF to the equation hoping it would speed things up a bit.
Problem with IF is that during my eating window, I end up eating between 1900-2100 calories because I'm hungry as all fuck.
My question was if that's fucking me up. I wasn't sure if it was fucking me up too much because, like I said, I read that even if you eat at a surplus on IF you'll still lose fat because of the fast. I was also looking for advice on how not to be such a greedy fat ass during the feeding window.
I...I thought I was pretty clear about that inquiry. You sure I'M the one that's retarded here?
I lost about 80 pounds so far and I am stuck at 200 right now. I've built up a lot of muscle and I am currently trying to go lower, but I've stalled out at 200. I want to get to 160 if possible, although many tell me I'll practically lose all the muscle I've built at that point. What to do?
Tons and tons of fish beans and rice autistically measured out at the start of the week and cooked in bulk. Combine that with my regular routine and some yo mixed with caffeine.
I'm already fairly lean so I'd say a month or two should be fine. I'll start on the first day of spring.
Just gonna cut 2kg lads
This was the first time I did a bulk since I've always been in endurance sports. But since I've started lifting I wanted to add some mussels for the grills. Put on 10kg and went from 68kg archduke of ottermode skellies to 80kg.
I'm thinking 78kg is the optimal weight for me.
Going for a 2360kcal a day!
>hurr durr I went from eating 1600-1800 kcal to 1900-2100kcal. will I still see faster results guys ?
are you serious ? if you don't have the willpower for IF it won't do you any good. In the end it is about kcal and if you eat more on IF than otherwise why would you do it ?
the point is that for most people it is easier to eat this way and maintain a deficit. Instead of eating a few small meal throughout the day some people just like to not eat for the first few hours of the day and then eat most of their kcal in a rather small timeframe so that they feel stuffed and they can deal with their diet better this way. It is basically just psychological in the end what matters is kcal deficite and cardio.
>are you serious ? if you don't have the willpower for IF it won't do you any good.
Good point. I think I just need to work on my will power. Like I said, the actual fasting isn't the problem, it's the fact that I'm overeating to compensate for it. It's probably psychological. I'm constantly thinking "If I don't scarf all this shit down in 8 hours, I'll pass out at the gym from being starved". Probably because I actually did pass out once at the gym from being in too much of a caloric deficit. Guess I'm paranoid about that.
>It is basically just psychological in the end what matters is kcal deficite and cardio
Yea, I figured it was probably just a psychological thing going on, despite reading a bunch of bro-science facts saying the fasted state makes your body burn fat 200% faster.
