anybody here run a mile faster than this?
6 min miles is not impressive at all when it comes to running.
To normies who aren't /fit/ it is, but to anyone who runs often as their chosen form of fitness it's below average.
Mile time - Bench Press By Plates
7:XX-6:31 = 1 plate
6:30-6:00 in mile = 2 plate
5:59-5:30mile = 3 plate
5:29-5:00 = 4 plate
4:XX = 5 plate+
Hope this helps
>Yes, personal best is 4:58 and I'm not even fast
4:36, hungry skeleton mode highschooler
somewhere under 6 minutes; 30 pounds heavier 5 years later
Haven't run one mile in a few years, but recently ran just over 2 miles in 12 minutes (see-how-far-you-can-go-in-12-minutes, as opposed to a timed 2 mile run), which translates to <6 min/mile pace
I think I could get 5:30 if I took one week to prepare; my cardio is shit so it would take a few months to do any better
>tfw want to run D3 track this semester
>don't want to stop lifting
I wanna run so bad, but my cardio endurance is dog shit, not to mention I'm trying to gain weight.
How do I git gud at running, /fit/?
Just tried for the first time in my life and came in ~8:30. My calves and throat hurt.
Seems like fun tho.
Someone please tell me what manner of shoes to buy so I don't kill my joints or something.
