>"one of the reasons why so many lose the will to lift is because they are discouraged by unrealistic expectations set by rodiers"
>"now let me completely discourage you by saying it takes 30 years to see progress"
I love gooby (no homo), but this is just plain wrong.
is scooby retarded or something
this is absolutely achievable in 2 years doing calisthenics
>less than 1 %
ayyylmao at the end saying that getting as big as scooby wont be possible in 30 years if youre natty
scooby natty? i guess not
the skinnyfat pleb was right when he ranted his shit on those crappy videos
tb.h idk. Been lifting for almost a year and while I'm happy with it, I feel I'm at a point where I should reconsider what I'm trying to accomplish. Not sure if the result will be turning in the old natty card, but that's what I gotta be asking myself.
/fit/ has the opposite problem
People on here basically think that the human body is incapable of picking up a dumbbell without first taking steroids
I honestly do not care about the ad revenue, but I would LOVE it if this were my one video to go viral this year. The problem is that most of my subscribers have realistic expectations because I have drilled it into their heads year after year for a decade. To reach the people who REALLY need to see this video - the jef seid fans, mat ogus fans, and tim gabel fans of the world, this video would need to go viral. I dont care how much they hate me but they need to see this video.
I dont think that will happen scooby. Sadly I feel most people who are just starting out in fitness want instant results. If only people like Mike Chang and Joff would actually stop tricking people into thinking all you need for a good body is "one weird trick."
>scooby knows fit memes
He's clearly back boys, he's been lurking all along.
We love you gooby!
I got some noob gainz in only 6 months of lifting following your advanced routine without modifying it much. Thanks for the mires I get now!
I'm around C2. Started as your bogstandard skinny fat last spring. Did SL for a couple months, then switched to ICF for a couple months. Started PHUL around October and have been doing pretty much that since.
My goal has always been "be healthier," but I never actually nailed down the specifics (i.e., be more muscular? be able to run a marathon? be more agile and flexible?). That's what I meant by saying I should take a step back and figure out what I'm trying to accomplish. Not that I'm lacking motivation or discipline, but rather direction if that makes sense.
By the mark of 2:42 this was my fucking face, but sincerely almost all the guys that were on his "success stories" look delicious on their after picture. When he got to the part of "the chances of this transformation in a decade" I would be far happier with the before rather than the after.
I feel like after a certain point of musculature+bodyfat% all the guys look good enough and I'd be happy with having any of those bodies or dating any of those guys.
>starts a crusade against fake natties
>and yet he manages to persuade retards that the gym will make you produce bull's levels of test and GH
Scooby is the worst thing that could happen to some teenager looking for honest info about getting swole.
its time we tear down all these fucking fake natties spewing bullshit all over the internet and feeding kids pipe dreams.
>mfw I've been pronouncing zyzz as "zizz" this whole time
scooby PLEASE make a video pointing out all the famous fake natties, maybe even celebs too! Captain america, thor, youtube stars, all these people are feeding the masses horseshit and have given the world a delusional sense of what is actually possible.
if you were sedentary before you would have added size without adding muscle mass at first, as your muscles went from disuse to use.
then you have to remember some of the weight you add will be fat even if your bf% remains the same.
>Scooby replying "jef please go" to all the mad cunts in the comments section
you were to good for us
Its even more funny when roiders like piana try to justify their silly GROß ESSEN UM GROß ZU WERDEN eating habits by doing 20 minutes of cardio. Video relatiert
20 minutes of cardio + meth = superman
Why bother lifting if I'll never look aesthetic without having my balls shrivel up due to roid rage?
>"I would say, if you're 6'3; have top 5% genetics.. there is a reasonable chance that you could have this physique working out 10 hours a week for 30 years without break." - Scooby
Scoobs, if you're reading this thread, just wanted to say thanks for being awesome. Finished my first year of my past new years resolution. Wish I had uploaded some pics on your site, but I really was disappointed with my body and myself.
I'm pretty sure I'll eventually use PEDs because I'm optimizing for results. I also have major doubts as to whether or not I'll be able to quit them or avoid slipping into harmful use, and what my endgame goal body is, which are the major things keeping me from 100% certainty. I'm satisfied with slow progress, but exercise is not something I do for fun. I lift just to look better, and I do cardio just to not die.
I'm fairly certain I have naturally low test: although I can grow a beard and am not bald, I'm depressed, have low libido, and have lots of trouble sleeping.
I don't want to turn in my natty card, but I also don't want to be on anti depressants: they mess with my head and make me fat.
Will scooby still believe in me if I go to my doctor for test?
>and am not bald,
that isn't a sign of low-test.
The two obvious things to look at is nutrition and exercise - are you active and eating well?
The other thing is sleep, if that's suffering then I wouldn't expect anything to work right - it might be worth addressing that in itself.
None of those. Would you recommend them over testosterone? Are they cheaper?
Nutrition is great: my brother is a cook and a health nut. Exercise is good too, weight lifting plus every day cardio.
Sleep is always tough for me. I can come home exhausted, but I can only ever seem to get 4 or 5 hours of sleep.
Creatine has a minor effect.
D-Aspartic Acid can temporarily increase (~7 days over 14 days supplementing) testosterone in healthy individuals, with lasting T gains noted in infertile men that continue supplementation. This may also apply to otherwise low T individuals but this has not been specifically tested.
It's just very hard to actually modify your body's hormone axis. You remove all the shitty things you do to it like bad eating, nutrient/mineral deficiencies, bad sleep and hope for the best.
They are common deficiencies which can hinder your natural test production. Magnesium in particular can also cause poor sleep. ZMA is expensive, magnesium powder and zinc tablets is cheaper but a pain in the ass, and magnesium oxide is ineffective.
Oh well Piana has said before
"How do you get like me?"
20 years of perfect nutrition
20 years of never missing a day
3 hours minimum in the gym every day.
It strikes me as bold that he admits to using so many growth hormones and roids that he doesn't know what made him so big and yet he turns around and does something like that.
I see this all the time at my gym. People coming in and start asking what should they buy to get abs till summer. Then they train only abs, biceps and chest and in a month I never see them again.
I can't respect somebody who only makes videos for shameless cash grabs. He used to release videos with real genuine health and fitness content that you felt was sincere, now most of the stuff he releases is just clickbait while rehashing the same lessons over and over.
No. The time difference between the left and right pics are 15 month. It took me 9 month to cut using DNP and only then I started to play around with dumbells and such for 6 more month before taking that other picture. I'm bigger already, but wan't to make a comparison pic in another 6 month after the last one
Yeah he was overstating that, I gained an inch on my biceps in a couple months lifting and another by the end of the year, and they weren't small to begin with.
Admittedly two inches is only a moderately small change in the mirror.
I guess the listen here is that being natty isn't worth it. By the time you show significant progress you'll be old & have a considerably less attractive face to go with the body.
It's clear from the cycle he posted up that he really doesn't know how to use gear properly, and admits having been on since he was 18 which means he never learned proper training methodology. Guys like him show that all it really takes to get huge is enough steroids and showing up to the gym consistently.
>tfw Scooby will never make another unsolvable puzzle for us
Wtf Scooby you're not ugly
Aside from the horse face
But these aren't click bait. They tell everything promised in the title, or at least give major reasons for most people's failures.
Click-bait video titles are, in my opinion at least, things like "GET SHREDDED ABS IN 2 MONTHS!" And while scooby has done something similar to this, he states that he does it simply so people will click on them and IMMEDIATELY hear that it isn't possible - information they should know.
Scooby does (or has) use click-bait titles not to gain views or popularity, but to trick the people who search for these things into learning that they need to re-evaluate their goals, which is overall better for the fitness community. The videos you pointed out are not click bait videos with baseless info in them.
you type of faggots are the reason scooby maintains all contact with /fit/ through a fucking hazmat suit
fuck you stop being so fucking 4chan-ish, why can't we be more like fitmisc
keep posting brah
first rich piana left us (who remembers supermutant)
then zyzz (forever)
now scooby is slowly coming back and you're giving him worst fucking treatment.
>anyone who thinks you will have bigger biceps after 6 months, its not gonna happen
stopped watching there
Hey scoobs id love it if you came back to tour germany sometime. Last time i couldnt make it since im sitting in northern germany and didnt have the time to take a train to the next meet. Hope you still had fun regardless.
It burns my asshole to hear people like schooby spread this nonsense.
If you can't increase your bench from 135x5 to 225x5 (maybe 20lbs +/-) in six months on a reliable linear progression program you're seriously not trying hard enough, not eating enough or not consistent enough. Along with this strength gain will come bigger triceps and bigger arms. It's really that simple. You'll notice a big difference in your arms when you can rep 225.
Every man's heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them bleed deeper, than something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever.
THIS JUST IN
OFFICIAL SCOOB APPROVED WORKOUT
300 PUSHUPS, 300 SITUPS, 300 SQUATS 30 KM RUNNING AND 100 CURLS
Does anyone have that picture of scooby that says auf wiedersehen from that youtube video?
He was the hero we needed. But not the one we deserved.
I love you Scoobs, I knew you never left
He probably had an argument with his husband so he refused to gnaw on his nipple for a week, giving this hair time to grow!
I'm sorry /fit but I can't make my imagination to create a picture with this guy taking a dick in his ass or destroying his "husband's" ass. I would be his partner, I would be obsessed by his huge tits and nipples.
>All of these faggots who suck Scooby's dick every chance they get
Fuck you /fit/. Fucking hivemind drones. Scooby is fucking shit and is a horrible person.
>you will never get mad at strangers on the internet
a glorious feeling
: , ) I love scoobert threads. Cuz all the oder fitizens come out
Fuck off Alex. I have better strength genetics than size genetics. I can max 205 on bench but my arms are only 12.5 inches flexed and I've been lifting 21 months or so.
Most people who max 205 on bench have significantly bigger arms than I do. I'm not even very lean, sitting around 11% as a 140 pound 5'8" guy.
My existence proves that some people are better inclined to gain size and others don't gain size quickly, but max out their strength potential at a given level of muscle mass very effectively.
I am in the second group.
Well, frankly I still hit plateaus on my lifts at a 500 calorie surplus every 5 weeks or so.
I have a feeling that I have been consistently over training and adding in unnecessary volume in my training that hinders my progress.
I've hit a 4 plate deadlift and 3 plate squat though, despite not looking like I lift
You must be on some pretty crappy routine. Those are all pretty much just intermediate numbers you should be able to get within your first year pretty much regardless of what you do. Are you eating enough to actually gain weekly?
Get on something that incorporates periodization.
I hope you don't always lift like that. Your lower back starts to round right at the beginning of the pull.
I have a pretty good idea right now of what i've been doing wrong. I've spent 3/4 of my time lifting basically spinning my wheels.
The only times I have made consistent progress were when I did full body workouts with 3-4 day per week frequency and minimal volume and very little accessory work.
For example, I ran PPLPPLX for a couple months and made literally no strength gains. As soon as I began doing full body again, my bench started climbing up again, but at a lower body weight.
I have cut down. I was 148 pounds in July and am around 138 now, but my lifts have gone up.
And as far as the lower back- I'm aware of it, but no one in my family has disc problems and my build is such that it's very difficult to prevent rounding, especially given that grip is one of my limiting factors
Another thing- my lifts aren't beginner lifts. I still weigh 20 pounds less than the average man my age and height. My lifts are advanced.
I've literally never seen anyone as thin as me squat, deadlift or bench what I can.
Lose fat and lift weights x 6 months
Welp Scoobs, is good to see that you're still lurking here, see ya a sweat4health.
Based Scoobatron, it has always intrigued me how much you remind me of my dad. You're almost the same age, both of you are engineers, you wear the same gilligan's island style hats, and have a very similar smile.
>Wow, you lift a lot of weight! You must lift a lot of weight.
I love you Uncle Scooby
