Regular handsoap, so long as it isn't drying out your skin too much. This equaline brand is pretty good by me, cheap too.
Exfoliate the skin, then apply lotion when you get out of the shower. Cover every damn inch of your body in lotion every day.

CeraVe in the tub is solid but incredibly heavy - depending on your skin and where you are geographically it might not be a good choice for you. If you're breaking out, I suspect that you're oily or at least combination, and that might be too much for you.

A lighter option might be a better choice - The Dove Men Sensitive Skin moisturizer is a solid drug store choice, and the CeraVe facial lotion another anon posted is also a good, lighter option with SPF which is always a plus. If you're willing to go to Sephora there's a lot of good options, personally I'm partial to Ole Henriksen, but that's considerably more expensive and a bit feminine. The Jack Black stuff they also carry is good and considerably more manly, if that's a concern for you.

Make sure you're not under or over exfoliating - you don't need to be using a heavy scrub every day. Hard to make too specific of suggestions without more info on you and your skin, but a light cleanser daily and a scrub once or twice a week would probably be a step in the right direction.

We're all going to make it.

I used to use cetaphil but I prefer cerave, it's much less oily and absorbs better.
Get both and see which works better for you.
>>
STOP

Use the lotion not the cream. I even if you have dry skin, it's better to layer the lotion than to use the cream, the cream is literally intended for the body. If you use it on the face, you'll probably break out

>>35669726
Bad advice, handsoap is just as drying as most body soaps. You can't just give random advice to people with different skin types than you you dumb fuck
>>35669606 you should use something that does NOT have sodium laurel sulfate in it. Honestly I just my face wash to wash my body, just get a facial wash for sensitive skin and use it on your body. I've found that the sensitive skin body bars are actually too strong for me
