Is loosing weight on SL 5x5 a meme?
Switched to SL about 12 weeks ago, have significally increased my lifts while eating in a deficit from 1800-2300 kcal (some splurging in the 2-3 days around xmas)
Went from about 210 to 220 at 7 feet 8", without knowing bf i would say ive lost about 1-2% tops.
Is there any hope of loosing some pounds or atleast increase bf with SL 5x5 or is this just a meme?

You're progressing fine. If your lifts are going up, you're gaining muscle, which weigh more than fat. So stick to it, and in one month you should see a difference.
