Current body thread: first day of cutting edition. Compare aesthetics and lifts. Also tell me where I need to improve so I don't look like a retard when I go skinny again.
>weight 193 lbs

Looking good, will look sick after cutting for sure.
Insertions of the gods. Look good already but you have crazy potential.
6' 3 190lbs just finished cut. Haven't lifted in 2 months due to a broken hand.
What's your weight? I don't max out my front but the most I've hit successfully was 335 lbs for 3. I normally just use it very light for deloading after heavy back squatting. Just feels better to me that way
Bulking from 153lbs-165lbs. Thinking about bulking until 172ish to make it more worth while, what do you bros think?
>also, lifting for 1.5 years, only seriously last few months
>mfw so much time wasted
Been lifting for 5 years now. I'll reply to this with my quad photo
Guys I need help. Should I start cutting now or wait till feburary. I am toward the end of my first bulk.
If you cut now or even in february you will dig yourself deep in a ditch you can't climb from.
You don't have much muscle and if you cut to 9 percent you will be leaving yourself with an unimpressive body. I would suggest lifting seriously for a year before you cut.
I mean your arms look like 28cm at best. If you cut they will become smaller. Your chest is not well developed so when you cut it might look worse than it looks now as you don't have that "Arnold-like Batsuit Pecs".
Being the huge guy in the beach beats out being the small malnutrioned guy. I'm sad to inform you that you don't have what it takes to become "that guy".
For anyone reading this from the frontpage, if you're just starting you're going to have a summer where you're big, that's just how it is.
You won't look like shit and you can be moderate about it but its just something you have to deal with.
No its fine, desu I need some honest advice. Compared to what I looked like before I am happy I am making progress. Pic related
6'4 21 yo
Trying to recommit to lifting
Pic was taken a min ago
Also im the swoleamentary guy
Almost done with my winter bulk, gonna be time to cut soon
How long has this "bulk" lasted? Do you even bench 1pl8? Don't cut dude. You need to clean bulk, it will improve your T levels if you go into in a surplus & build some muscle, cutting will be easier later. If you cut now, you will continue to look the same but smaller because you have low muscle / low testosterone.
I had pneumonia and couldn't work out for two months so I lost alot of weight. From 165 to 144. I started bulking about a month and a half ago to try to get back to where I was. I just broke a plate recently.
5"10 , 195lb. starting my first cut after a 2 year bulk of peace. I still feel too small to cut even tho people regularly tell me I'm big. Does anyone know this feel?
Am I gonna make it or is the body dysmorphia fucking up my head?
6'7'' 252 lbs, started at ~218 lbs about 2 years ago when i started lifting.
I'm thinking on going to start my first cut in like mid-February, I know I could probably continue to get bigger, but I don't like looking or feeling bloated and I would assume I'm around ~%20 bf. My goal is to look decent for summer and then do a more serious bulk early next Fall.
raided muh fone 4 sum older pics
liftan 4 like 6 yrs
dont bench, OHP 185
once when I was in college, but ever since I hurt my rotator cuff it's just not worth it. drunk wrestled a guy that slapped my gf's ass on halloween, was p fun, my roommates ended up chasing him down the hall with kitchen knives
ya natty, currently only on creatine 5g/day
upper/lower body split w/ power or strength first then volume as accessory, usually 5-6 days/week
legs is lowbar SQ, DL, then lunges and leg ext.
upper is incline DBB, OHP, flyes, pulldowns and pullups with pendlay rows (god-tier off-day deadlift accessory btw), then standard bicep/tricep/delt shit
thx m80 it just means i can smell bad and girls still like me
110 kg bench for 8 reps
120 kg squat for 8 reps
Trying to seriously cut instead of being a gluttonous faggot. I want to make it bros.
6'0, 155 - cutting down until clean bulk starting in March.. Am I ever gonna make it bros? What mode am I?
Lifting for about 15 months. 5'11
I always wonder about this.
How do people get access to the Internet and know how to use a computer and find their way to 4 chan, but don't know how to fucking Google a simple conversion....
>Brother in law comes over to check out my new gym
>didn't even know what a power rack/cage was
>I set up the bench for him to do BP
>Warms up with the bar
>Load up a half plate for him cause he doesn't lift
>Load up 1pl8 because we wants to try the 'big ones'
>Does another 5 reps
>that'll do mate you can go now
Some people are just genetically gifted so it's possible
Noone on /fit/ knows fucking shit
He needs to eat and lift well for a prolonged amount of time. That's what he needs to do - do something over time. He lifted for three months, what he needs to do to look good is continue for another three years
2 months from almost auchwitz mode.
Yeah i know it's bad :(
Is it possible for me to make it?
About 175 cm. It's not hard to convert.
Wow how many years?
Reporting in. Fuck antibiotics seriously I have eaten like nothing in 2 days.
6' when do I get abs?
>tfw slowly reaching natty limit
>tfw getting new gains is getting harder and harder
>still have belly fat and love handles, have not got visible abs
>saw ribs when I stretched in the mirror
Oh God was my bulk for nothing, am I still a skeleton under my fatshield?
Plus side, I saw serratus anterior too.
Take is slow. There's no such thing as a clean bulk, only a slow bulk which is what looks like a clean bulk.
Aim for a gain of 2lbs a month, anything over is guaranteed fat as a natty.
I haven't lifted in 2 months. Loops like i have no abs back or shoulders.
100kg x5 bench
65kg x5 OHP
115kg x5 squat
160kg x3 deadlift
4 day bro split and been lifting for 4 years. I know my stats are not that good, but I always focused on aesthetics. Never cared too much about strength.
Pretty much zyzz in pic related is my goal body
How do I make my arms wider? They look good from the side, and when I flex, but they look like toothpicks from the front. Is it all in the triceps or what?
Winter just started like a month ago. Why do all you guys around here start cutting now? I cut end of spring and that's still to early. The vagina isn't out and about until june-september. Cutting now seems like such a long time without quality gains. You'll be losing an awful lot of muscle with such a long cut.
Any reason guys?
Hope you make it breh. I know it will be hard, but if you make it you will look much better than me, since I'm only 5'8.
Different person man but seriously, you're my goal.
If you have a sec, what's your exact diet? Because if you aren't cutting/bulking it's gotta be pretty key.
Also, I'm coming from skinnyfat and 6'5", you think I can pull off a build like that ever? Few years?
A combination of angle and small forearms. They're okay from the side I guess pic related
Thanks m8. Just discovered the wrist roller.
Fat bro, 3 months lifting.
>Me: 6'4'' 125kg (275lbs)
>squat 115kg 3x5
>Deadlift 150kg 1x5
>OHP 55kg 3x5
>cleans 75kg 3x5
>Bench 95kg 3x5
Should I cut coz I'm fat or continue lifting heavier and getting bigger?
Morning : few dried figs, 4 eggs (2-3 whole, and the rest just the whites), and 1-2 tablespoons of high quality organic honey
preworkout 1g taurine + coffee
after workout banana + protein shake
meal 3 chicken/fish/beef/whatever + veggies + brown rice
meal 4 chicken/fish/beef/whatever + veggies
meal 5 (before bed) 2 whole eggs + sometimes a handful of nuts
I started as a skelly, so all I had to do was gain some weight. As a skinnyfat and that tall, it will take you a while, but I believe if you have a disciplined diet and you are patient you will probably make it. I would also advice you to do HIIT.
Thanks man, there have been times where I seriously considered quitting lifting and had lost my motivation to do anything, not just in lfiting but in life general, but such words make me want to lift some heavy ass shit again.
We're all gonna make it.
Dude lift for a few more months and grow as much as you can. Then spring/summer hit the cutting diet and continue lifting as big as you can.
Once you get down to a "I look good in the mirror" physique then hit the maintenance diet until about a month or two from fall. Start the bulk again, I'd highly recommend carb cycle for the cut. It'll make the cUT easier in your body. Iv done it both traditonal cut carbs only and carb cycle and the traditional takes all my energy from me.
>157lbs gonna cut down to sub 10%bf so probably around 145lbs at ~9%
Should take until the beginning of May probably
different person aswell.. i was actually going to change to a 4 day split from a full body tomorrow and this just gave me even more reason to do it considering im 5 9 66kg aswell, thanks anon
Thanks brah, I believe I can make it now if I push hard enough. These posts are my Bible now, and I'm definitely gonna try HIIT.
Thank you for giving me the motivation to continue, hopefully I'll return the favor someday.
Here is a front view.
2 months lifting since I broke my wrist and lost 15lbs.
Currently on a lean bulk. I work out 3 times a week, if my job permits. Otherwise I work as a mover, lifting heavy shit and then walking up and down stairs.
Probably would have been nice to have an attachment.
Anime traps mode
Is it just the picture or do they really look like that?
Been dieting and cardio for a month, trying to get cut. Should I start bulking instead?
Is recomping worth it unless you're a fresh beginner or really close to your genetic potential? I always thought bulk/cut cycles were better for the first couple years of lifting.
DAAAMN how long have u been lifting?
>mfw i bench 202
>mfw i squat 200*10
>mfw i deadlift 300*6
7'6 manlet 5 month liftin
Just came back from the gym, I didn't feel so good but this post made my night. Good luck breh
I know most /fit/izines will get mad at me, but I believe full body routines are only for begginers and people into powerlifting. If you want aesthetics, then brosplit is the only way to go (The right nutrition plays a major role ofcourse).
Hope you reach your goals.
Just started dieting last week and will start working out tomorrow, used to lift back in highschool but stopped and gained some weight since then.
do I have potential? Could I make it someday?
jesus dude, honestly that looks fucking insane mirrin fucking hard
whats your height and weight?
180cm 89,5 kg
A little over 4 months, up 17 pounds from 125, 13 pounds left before I hit my goal.
max bench 45 lbs
max squat 95 lbs
max deadlift N/A
been lifting for 4 months
should i start cutting btw? ive been doing the GMOD thing and I dont think its working
What do you mean when you say your max bench is 45lb? Can you only bench the bar? Do you put 22.5lbs on each side of the bar? Or do you put 45lbs on each side of the bar?
6'2" 217lbs and dropping
Only cock and man-butt allowed on my /fit/ desu.
ya ive been doing GOMAD since january 1st
i do 10 pound dumbell curls till i cant anymore
then i do bench press with no weights till i cant anymore
then i do squats till i almost pass out
rest for a bit
then i do dips till i cant anymore
then i do leg press machines till i cant anymore starting at heaviest and going down till no weights
im just worried if i fuck up and the bar smacks me in the chest and I die
This is really bad don't do this. Find a beginner program that you like and fits your goals and do that instead. What you're doing now is really stupid and will get you hurt without any real results. Also don't do GOMAD unless you are doing a strength routine.
How am I looking? Just started lifting about 6 months ago, no shirtless pics yet and I'm at work atm
Body's looking sad right now. Lifted seriously for a year, just started lifting again since July.
>68" 150 lbs
>205 lb max bench
>315 lb 4 rep squat
>315 lb dead lift
Cannot gain weight while bulking, not sure what to do about it.

Are you fatter or skinnier than me? If you're trying to gain weight to reach my body type then yeah just keep at it and eat right. But if you have to cut, there are more suitable routines.
Started December 1st.
Can't seem to find my before pic ATM, but I think there's already some progress.
Found "before" pic.
Still a work in progress, obviously. I want to look good for EDC in Vegas come late June.
It's called growing up. Yes, you have to look smart, honest, disciplined, hard working and good for others. Or you can stick to your le ebin zyzz YOLO lifestyle and see how far that takes you.
Started off fat, approx 8 months ago.
Ended up cutting so hard i became anorexic.
Been clean bulking ever since.
Do you guys think I should cut, bulk or maintain from now on?
Starting weight: 160
Starting bench for 10 reps: 85
Starting squats for 10 reps:105
Current weight: 160
Current bench: 135
Current squats: 185
Stopped smoking weed 10x a day about two months ago and I've seen a lot of results since.
It's almost the last month of summer and I feel like trying to cut more will just make me spin my wheels, its pretty demotivating when you lift more than some people but they look so much better than you. Should I just commit to a 10 month bulk then cut for december in 2016? I feel like shit because I've got no muscle but I'm skinnyfat as fuck It's depressing tbqh
>75kg x5 bench
>55kg x5 OHP
Left is before, right is now. Now +8lbs with improving lifts although still have a very long way to go. Not sure if there is much change here (mostly in my glutes), but thinking about starting a moderate cut soon. (140lbs, 5'9, ~20-22%bf)
And glutes, again still a long way to go. Doing barbell hip thrusts and glute bridges with squats/deadlifts and some other accesories in case femanons are interested.
6'2 skelly mode
4 months between shots
help me brehs
Little less than a year seriously lifting
5'11" 160 lbs
Currently cutting because I started with too high of a body fat and I want to bulk again. Haven't lost any strength yet so I'm hopeful.
epic trap mode incoming.
great frame, just get juicy bro.
6'2 225 i just want bigger shoulders and about 30 lbs on all my prs before I cut :(
> 5'11 king of the fucking manlets
> 194 lbs
> Bench 305x1
> squat 470
