What are some ways to look like a manlier person?
Obviously lifting is one of them, maybe a beard.
But what else can you do to look and bring a presence of a man?
>being anti-illegal immigration means you hate Mexicans
>wanting to prevent terrorist attacks means you hate Muslims
This is what liberals actually believe.
Having a respect for other cultures, but also wanting to protect your own culture is masculine.
I'm not a right winger, but I can see how being right wing is the more "masculine" position.
The left is about "making everyone equal" (whether you agree with it or not)
The right is about making winners be winners and the losers be losers, and keeping it that way. (or haves and have nots, economically)
So I'd say it wouldn't be wrong to say it's inherently more "alpha" to be right wing. You don't have alphas and betas in a left world, the right accentuates alphas.
Conservative isn't necessarily racist, man. I vote democrat because of social issues (because conservatives ARE frequently racist/sexist/homophobic), but economically they seem to have the right idea.
Then again, I'm not an economist, so what would I know?
No not really. It's realizing that people are biologically different and that trying to forcibly equalize them is not natural and counterproductive.
It's realizing that not everyone is meant to be a mechanical engineer and that some people have the mind to be soldiers, some to be engineers, and some to be farmers.
It's realizing that your territory is to be cared for and properly guarded by you and your home team.
The left wants people to believe that equality is true diversity and somehow the idiots eat that up.
>idiots eat that up.
No, it makes sense.
Most people benefit from being "forcibly equalized," at least in the short term. Like you said, those who can duke it out as Engineers, Lawyers, Physicians, Investment bankers, CEO etc...are in the minority. The majority have it in their interest to grab however much they can.
That usually , via pure coincidence, corresponds to said person believing they and their "kind" naturally belong in high status positions, and "others" naturally belong in menial positions. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
No that only happens with crony capitalism. Whenever the government think it has to best idea in choosing what's best.
Andrew Carnegie didn't seem like he was fit for that position. Especially not the poor farmer that Henry Ford was.
The great thing about being conservative is that of you're in the wrong class you can work your way up. Try that in a leftist utopia where the self-elected officials continue their reign.
It really doesn't. Everyone and anyone can live better when they're working instead of when they're being forced to be equal with stuff like a welfare state. Liberals usually agree with this too, at least whenever they're talking about the happiness of locals that live off the land, not themselves of course.
Liberals, at least men, are usually depressed or self-hating people that usually have a drug dependence and are never ever able to get their way, so they try to force it or try to impress people with their belief of intelectuallism. In all reality, they are afraid of reality. Until we are grown and conditioned like those in Brave New World, naturally men will lean right. That will always happen.
Human arrogance knows no political parties. You see this in the left and right.
>you can work your way up
That's what liberal ideas set out to do ~60 years ago. The problem is at some point that message got lost. Probably at the same time that the conservative message was lost, so in the 80's.
Wanting to privilege the legal institution of marriage for the sake of creating large families is one very good political reason for being opposed to gay marriage.
A political reason for being opposed to gay adoptions is that it's detrimental to the child, but better than nothing I'll grant you.
>there are actually people who believe this
Back to /pol/ with you
That claim has yet to be supported by any scientific evidence. Please stop using that if you disagree with gay marriage.
And plenty of same-sex couples start familes. Surrogacy and adoption are still readily available. If anything, same-sex marriages will improve family life by removing some of the stigmas around alternate lifestyles.
Simple clothes, conservative views (not necessarily racist), masculine figure, strong jaw, short hair, nice pair of BOOTS. People tend to overlook footwear when it can be the difference between looking like a man and looking like a teenager.
I can go on if needed.
What? I specifically said that time because of LBJ. He was likely the last president (maybe Carter on some issues) to ignore the votes and pass legislation to help people (minority races at the time). He even said when he signed it that his party would lose the South for a generation.
What claim? If you privilege marriage with tax breaks for the sake of creating larger families, it makes no sense to extend that to those that don't reproduce
The effects of bring raised by two men or two women is not natural and we should not assume it's just as good
The claim how two same sex parents aren't as good. There's tons of terrible opposite sex parents out there. Automatically saying someone isn't a good parent because of their sex, is as silly as saying their sex will make them a better parent.
This is a lazy false equivalency argument. We're talking about the principle so don't waste my time with "b-but some hetero marriages are worse than homo" non-arguments.
Men and women have different natures. Both of these natures have roles in the father and mother. It is utter hubris to assume thsee fundamental relationships can be subject to change with no negative effect. Yes some hetero marriages are awful and the child is better off with homo parents, but in principle that is the exception not the rule.
You're making a sweeping prediction based on assumptions. Yes men and women are different, but if we are aware of that, then the aspects that are best for the children can applied by both parents. That's true for any couple or family. Focus on being a good parent first, the rest you tackle as new information appears.
You're making a sweeping prediction based on the assumption that these motherly and fatherly natures can be perfectly duplicated. It seems you'll grasp at any straw for this topic, you want very much for it to be true, so I'll end it here.
Buzz cut works for me. But mostly its jaw width/strength, brow robustosity, facial hair. I cant grow a beard but I think I still manage to look pretty manly
this too. Skinny jeans make you look like a faggot also
Fellow buzz bro here, i actually Bic My head once in a while. If you're trying to make it look less round, but still have the "no fuss" look, maybe try getting the sides buzzed but leaving the top a little longer. Not sure what this style is called, but hopefully you know what i mean.
Sauce me up senpai
I believe the comment you are referring to was when he was asked about illegal immigrants and said something along the lines of, "They're rapists, they're bringing crime, they're bringing drugs..." etc. Which is often true. Again, being anti-illegal immigration does not mean you hate Mexicans.
Trump in particular wants to strengthen and encourage legal immigration and eliminate illegal immigration. And not just from Mexico.
>But what else can you do to look and bring a presence of a man?
Assert dominance by listening to porn at full volume 115 decibels and scaring your entire street.
yeah that's what im referring to but how are u so sure that they are often criminals? what about the innocent families trying desperately to escape the clutches of the mexican cartel?
The stats are easy to find.
Here's an example:
As for the people trying to escape the Cartels, they have every opportunity to do so. Through the proper legal procedure. Allowing every person who claims to be running from Cartels/ISIS/War into this country means that we would effectively have open borders.
That's just Texas over a four year period. I'm sure you could find stats for any of those states and combine them if you wanted. The point is that illegals do in fact commit a lot of crime.
Quick search came up with this:
I'm sure it's just a coincidence...
This pretty much senpai
If the sole purpose of your lifting is not to prepare for the coming crusade in Europe then your doing it all wrong.
>You put effort but make it look effortless.
You're advocating faking masculinity, not cultivating it.
If you want to be masculine, focus on substance over style - achievement over approval - charisma and vitality over aesthetics and appearance, etc.
Fuck you dumb faggot. Right wing views means that you're anti-immigration, not that you're anti Mexican or anti-Muslim. It just happens to be that these two types of people immigrate the most.
I love the people talking trash about Obama acting like he isn't the most alpha president of all time (next to andrew jackson). Did you people even watch the state of the union address? He basically shittalked neo-conservatives on national television for an hour straight, while getting all of congress to laugh at them, with his nigger lady cheering him on.
>Nothing can make you look manly if you don't already look it.
That isn't true, I look a lot manlier with a beard. If you're near to the tipping-point a beard will take you over it.
other things are:
>signs of physical control (I think this reflects something to do with dopamine, which regulates both success in the world, control, dominance and movement - like you see dopamine dysregulation causing tremors)
also, maybe being "low-expressiveness" - strong, silent type.
As Plato has the character of Socrates say about the Spartans - "they conceal their wisdom, and pretend to be blockheads, so that they may seem to be superior only because of their prowess in battle ... This is how you may know that I am speaking the truth and that the Spartans are the best educated in philosophy and speaking: if you talk to any ordinary Spartan, he seems to be stupid, but eventually, like an expert marksman, he shoots in some brief remark that proves you to be only a child" - Protagoras
By this point i would say just not being a retarded leftists cuck.
>living a life that's true to YOU.
this isn't a masculine approach - I see this all the time in "motivational" settings, and new-agey spiritual approaches, and these are both typically popular with women.
it's linked in my mind with making yourself "happy", also feminine. As Nietzsche says: "Do I strive for happiness? I strive for my work!"
External change over internal change - achievement over emotion.
I'm a masculine person by all means, but I don't really look like a masculine person. That, or my self-image is completely wrong. I also just shaved a two-month beard and that may be playing into it.
