Is it true that you have to train body parts 2-3 times a week for max gains and that waiting a whole week before training a body part just slows down your progress?
>Does training a certain body part only once a week compared to 2-3 times a week mean less gains?
What does common sense tell you, pal?
He didn't say anything about losing gains.
i had my best gains working out 3 times every two weeks. I just did compound exercises.
In fitness, there is this bodybuilding mentality, that you need to 15 sets for every body part, and that just isn't true.
You can probably get awesome gains lifting once a week.
yes, higher frequency will induce hypertrophy more effectively. It depends what your goals are though. If you're strength training, training a part multiple time a week will be counterproductive. If you're bodybuilding, more frequency is better.
shouldve put an asterisk next to your entire post
*this is only acceptable for nooby lifters. If you're squatting 300+ lbs three times a week and deadlifting 400 lbs three times a week, ur finna get rekt.
