Hmm, not sure if bait, but I'll bite anyway. Most girls in Japan look like that naturally. So if you really wanted to look like that, I would recommend walking instead of running (like two hours a day / 10km since that's about what they walk) and a low carb, high vegetable and fish diet.
If you want to have "attack stats" like that I would recommend boxing as the school of thought in boxing is to not lift as it reduces the speed of your punches - in this way you can also keep your arms skinny.
Personally though, I think Yuffie is cuter

Oh yeah, also dancers have a very similar body type as Rikku (smooth as opposed to toned), you could do that as exercise as well. Dancing is obviously beneficial to good footwork, which is the foundation of any martial art.

OP, really avoid carbs. Really. And soda. Avoid any foods than cause bloating.
Sorry, one more. If you don't want to go for a full boxing routine (or don't have access), the jumprope regiment is a good way to supplement walking as it don't really build muscle but burns a ton of calories. Boxers do 15 minutes daily, but of course you have to ease into that one...
that's dumb though. asians eat mostly carbs and chinese and koreans drench their food in oil.

You will never get someones body, specially from a game char, no matter how hard you try. You got your own genes and thats it.
But you can get a hot shape for sure. If you don't have big experience with physical activities then you should try some 'real' sport with a good amount of cardio and endurance. Parkour, kickboxing, tenis, etc. So you will get your 'speedy' body and condition + social network.

I was just googling beginners 'boxing' routines, and yep jumprope is a great one. Also pushups apparently, but I can't even do one, so iono how I'll deal with this

I live in Japan and basically the women here that look like that do eat rice, but on the whole eat about half what the average man here eats. They do have to walk long distances daily and basically no other exercise, which is why I recommended that, but that body type really is a lifestyle change and consistency is key.
If you can't do a full pushup, try putting your knees on the floor instead of your feet. If you can't do that, then use something that's raised and push your hand off from that in a quasi-push-up sort of manner (like a park bench, or a guard rail if that is difficult).

Also OP, try Stomach Vaccums. A defining feature of Rikku (and Yuna and Yuffie) is their tight guts. Doing this should help greatly with any bulge you might have in the gut, of course with cardio and proper diet.

Naw, I get that you want to have that slimmed, smooth look instead of the cut, ripped look. Don't get discouraged and if what you're doing isn't working, mix it up. Good luck, we're all gonna make it. Hopefully some other /fit/izens will chime in with some help.
What's great about stomach vacuums is that you can really do them anywhere, and they're really easy to do. Yuna is indeed ok, but lulu has the best breasts...
You gotta work your core like crazy. For a girl, rikku has amazing abs (i.e. no pot belly, visible v, etc). Obviously watch your diet, but your ab work out should include:
5 minute plank
1 minute L sit
6x8 back flips
5x8 back limbers
2 min flutter kicks
6x8 v ups
6x8 on floor wind shield wipers
4 minute side planks (2 on each side)
I've never heard of half of these things, so off to youtube I go. Thanks anon, I've been thinking of setting up a concrete cardio/bodyweight routine thingy, and those would make a good foundation for it.

Yeah, I've got that ectomorphic body type too, so it's much closer to an ideal body than Batman or something. Though if it's by Final Fantasy chars, I guess Zidane is my muse.
Also I'm the anon who mentioned stomach vaccums. Please youtube or google it. It's right up your alley for the look you're going for.
For the push-up issue what you can do is more of a static position hold to help build strength as well.
You take on the push-up position as you normally would and lower yourself enough that you get a bend in your arms, but hold yourself in place for 30 seconds at a time or as long as you can 3x in a row.
As you build strength from this you can begin lowering yourself self and you'll be able to get a full ROM push-up in time
