This is your annual reminder that it is now mid-January, which means that June 1st (unofficial start of summer, fuck the soltice) is roughly 20 weeks away.

Knowing most of you, you are sitting around 20% body fat (despite claiming to be 15%) after your winter "bulks".

That means that if you cut 0.5% body fat per week from now until June 1st, you may just barely get to 10% body fat for beach season.

If you wait to start your cut until March, you WILL be fat this summer. I guarantee it.

This has been a public service announcement from someone who has your best interests at heart. That is all.

Lifting or training any type of sport for someone else's approval is pointless. Sure i get it you guys want to get girls and get laid etc. But there is no way to get a body or look that will make everyone attracted to you.

And of course you might try to achieve a body that's attractive to the general public but you'll just end up having even more insecurities.

Lift and train to be strong, to feel good, to improve yourself and not to appeal to someone else.

Currently on a low carb 1500-1700 cal diet. The diet consist of chicken, cottage cheese, eggs and a lot of vegetables.

Everything is so delicious i do not think i need a propper cheatmeal. My cheatmeals will be simple carbs or something. Or ground meat. Also, bought CLA to boost up the progress.

Lifting 3 times a week SS but gonna do a new 5 week program i febuary because it is exam time on uni so a lot of free time.

Treadmill and Burpees TEND to be the kind of exercise where you either do something for a set amount of time or reps. It's harder to chart that sort of progress than weight (in that you don't just see it going up) so ten minutes killing yourself with sprints is going to feel the same a year in as it does at the start, even if you're going a load faster.

You probably think bulking just means eating like a fatass huh? Slight caloric surplus of 200-300 calories is all you need. You'll put on muscle at a rate of about 2lbs a month under ideal conditioms. However with recomping, it's much much less than that as your body NEEDS a surplus to pack on muscle.

I think it comes from poor programming or even limitations on mobility. I personally suffered from bad mobility and struggled to get the correct form down on squat. I would get hip pains and had terrible buttwink. The lack of squats led to a poor progression of my deadlift.

It's difficult to recover from.
