To be healthy, the #1 thing is to fight inflammation.
Prove me wrong
> protip: you can't
>tissues can't heal or grow properly
>pathogens and cancer cells can't be fought
>cognitive impairment from lack of inflammatory signaling necessary for many different kinds of information processing in the brain
This graphic is garbage.
Avoid Oily Fish - PUFA is poison.
Avoid Berries - Seeds are not good for intestines. Health benefits are negligible.
Almonds + Walnuts - PUFA again. AVOID.
Olive Oil - Is okay in small quantities.
Garlic - Is in the Allium family. AVOID. These are toxic to humans. See Bob Beck.
holy shit you idiot, cut back on the walnuts and see if you still have so much inflammation.
sure walnuts have omega 3 in the form of ALA but your body can only convert about 6% to EPA and 3.8% to DHA of that ALA, meanwhile walnuts also contain twice as much omega 6 (which is inflammatory) as as it contains ALA.
in short, eat less walnuts and more fish/fish oil.
>Garlic - Is in the Allium family. AVOID. These are toxic to humans. See Bob Beck.
Are you fucking retarded? did you watch that shitty youtube video where he claims garlic is toxic and just decided to take his fucking word for it?
garlic is not toxic to humans in the normal amount everyone eats and in fact has quite a few health benefits.
PUFA is poison
Literally essential for life
>Seeds are not good for intestines
Too much, too much baka
>Garlic is toxic
Are u fucking retarded m8?
Garlic is one of the best things you can take for avoiding cardiovascular disease... you know... just the biggest killer in the western world
Not to mention that everything is toxic you moron
Inflammatory signaling is required for proper mobilization and function of immune cells. Once recruited to the damaged tissue (muscle in this case), they mediate the clearance of damaged cells and debris. The various cytokines they release then go on to stimulate repair, growth, angiogenesis, etc. Interrupting any stage of this process will impair adaptation. Try reading a book instead of speaking authoritatively on a subject you know nothing about.
Too much saturated fat will stiffen cell membranes and cause lipotoxicity. This will induce inflammation
It should be kept < 10% of total calories
Help me understand this guys. I googled inflammation and basically eating shitty food and stress causes inflammation?
How can I tell the difference if I'm just tired after work or I suffer inflammation?
>sure walnuts have omega 3 in the form of ALA but your body can only convert about 6% to EPA and 3.8% to DHA of that ALA,
ALA is also anti-inflammatory though, it doesn't need to be converted to DHA or EPA
Omega-6 is not always inflammatory either, that's chicanery
inflammation is not a single process
try to find a study that has come up with an intervention that is specific to inflammation and can show that is actually the mechanism behind their results
> you can't
AHA are literally shills for vegetable oil companies. The amount of omega 6s they recommend is way above the physiological requirement and their hypothesis that it's beneficial in high amounts because it lowers cholesterol and doesn't cause adverse effects short-term in people on high omega 6 diets already is very speculative. There is a lot of contradicting data.
>people ITT bitching over getting too much inverted trans-alkalized fatty metastable garlic and not getting enough ALA omega 3.14 inverse oils
the human body can survive indefinitely on potatoes and milk
the human body can survive indefinitely on flour and a vitamin pill once a month
For anyone with mysterious pains that won't go away, you may have an intolerance to nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes, pepper, eggplant, tobacco). It took a month, cold turkey, for my pains to go away. Now I can have a bit of potatoes/tomatoes here and there without symptoms.
>americans call paprika peppers
this is why you have chronic inflammation
>thinking everyone posting on an Ukrainian crochet board is from the USA.
It's just the PUFAs oxidizing which is universal in causing DNA damage. The results are consistent with epidemiology with breast cancer prostate cancer and others for example.
There is no reason to eat that much n-6 PUFA and PUFA and fat in general. You only need very little PUFA (0.5% E in most people) and fat (10% E) and anything over that requirement just causes oxidative stress and aging.
