Well fit, this is me, over the past few years I've gone through a bit of weight loss. It's still a work in progress, but I'm down about 60 pounds. Unfortunately I've developed some loose skin around my chest... I was hoping for advice or if you guys though i might need surgery. I do pushups every morning to try and tighten it up, and i work out constantly along with cardio. Do you think they will just go away over time or no? Currently im about 6 feet tall, and weigh in at about 205.
That's what I was thinking, I just got a little hopeful because i saw stretch marks underneath, and i noticed they seemed smaller than a couple months ago. I can't tell if it was because I was developing more of a chest though that pulled up some of the loose skin, or if the skin was tightening on its own.
I was about 270 at my biggest, but I had almost no muscle, im putting up numbers now that I never thought I would have at the gym, running further, and just overall feel better. There's no way id go back to how I was. Also Thanks
Keep going, and get surgery, i've lost also 60lbs and i have no loose skin but on my arms. I believe its mostly genetics but i often hear about staying constantly hydrated, nice job anon, we are all gonna make it
I'm around that now. Was over 300. Literally thought of an heroing every single day, been hitting the gym for a few months now.
We're all gonna make it.
Thanks man, I believe in you!
I dunno man, i generally had large amounts of fat deposits in my breasts when I was younger, so when i cut it just stayed stretched out.
Hey man, im freakin proud of you, stay strong mentally and physically brother.
im about 6 feet tall and 205
Jesus Christ op, good job
I've lost 100lbs over 2 years but my skin didn't get nearly that bad
Before resorting to surgery, try 1 cycle of bulking/cutting and seeing if that helps
What I did was cut until abs were barely visible then bulk until my lifts were on par for the average guys lifting at my gym
Finally, one more cut and that seemed to remove all of my loose skin
Also, drink a metric shit ton of water, it promotes skin elasticity
Thanks, and wow! 100 freaking pounds man. Proud of you. I see this thread developing into a circle jerk of us congratulating each other, but i still appreciate it, and its giving me motivation.
No official source but just Google 'water skin elasticity'
It's something I came across when I got worried about my deflated boobs
I can't say if it worked because it's not like I had a control group to compare myself against but worse case scenario, you just drank more water
Yeah sorry, didn't mean to come off as bragging and steal your glory but just wanted to lend a bit of credibility to myself
I dunno man, it was probably genetics for me. I always seemed to have saggier tits then other fat kids. Like embarrassingly saggy, but i guess thats just the dice i rolled. Other then that I've been given a pretty good hand at life.
He can always get nipple tattoos afterwards.
>tfw u can amaze all your friends with the 3D illusions on your rock-hard-would-be nipples
>tfw u shake your chest left and right so they can appreciate the pepperoni art
>tfw u swiftly jump forward and they all cover their eyes alas they get virtually poked by your virtual mamillas
That is horrific bro, I lost 65 pounds myself and it was a complete life changer, didn't have my skin like you, my stomach looked like shit but I'm currently bulking and it gets nothing but better, good luck
I feel bad for laughing at such hard work but holy fuck
Wow, hey family. i thought i was the only one cursed with horrible chest fat deposits.
however, don't let it get you down m8. over time mine were reduced alot as i built muscle/got leaner. still, i'm not pleased with how my chest look and will most likely be getting surgery within the next ~5 years.
i've been holding off on it though because i would like to see how much i can correct it myself as i've never seen myself incredibly lean. 285 5'4 when i was 14, now 190 5'8 at 18yrs old.
dont let the chest discourage you, they will self correct a little over time but not 100%. surgery is a reasonable consideration, i plan on getting very lean to see how it looks at then point.
we're gonna make it fampai
Say I'm a big fat cunt with tits, would it be better to eat a somewhat average diet for weight loss as well as exercise rather than a very strict one as well as exercise? Like if I ate healthy most of the time but had cheat days now and again. Wouldn't it be better to lose weight slower then going hard as fuck with diet and losing weight quickly, so you have loose skin?
Wow it's nice to hear from someone dealing with the same issue. I've also felt the same, that I want to correct as much as possible before I resort to surgery. I mean I had 18 years of a shit diet and 18 years of doing damage to my body, I can't expect it to change so quickly. Good luck my friend.
I've been waiting 6 years for my moobs to go brother i know your pain. I think surgery might be the only way at this point.
Question: do you feel any glandular tissue under the nip? as I can feel it on mine so think it might be a touch of gyno too.
My hips were a lot bigger, bigger love handles, my man books were a tad more stretched and my thighs were much chunkier. Almost no muscles on my body. I kind of looked like a bell with a handle if you can imagine. Skinner on the top and widening out at my hips
Maybe try moisturising for a while. I feel like that would increase elasticity, but I don't have anything to back me up. It's only a few dollars for a bottle.
Regardless, you're healthier now, and that's what matters. Don't let the saggy skin make you give up.
you're still fucking fat kid
you look like about 20%
lose more weight
There is nothing connected to the nipple from underneath but I can feel fat deposits bunched up underneath the loose skin if that's what you mean. Hey good look man, proud of your accomplishments
And I thought I had it bad...
Godspeed anon. Get to where you want to be in life.
>tfw you can post tits on a SFW board so long as the nipples are surgically removed and fake ones are tattooed on
>>35633402 here, if they aren't saggy then you wont have much of a problem. if they look like mine in the before pic or OP's then probably.
I lost weight slowly over 4 years, that before pic is an in between where i was about 220lbs 2 yrs ago.
it doesnt really matter how fast you lose the weight, it depends how much fat you store on your chest
Anybody else experience this? Was curious about surgery myself cost wise and if insurance covers these.
6ft wide frame
275 originally and am now 240
With my current plan and routine I'm expecting to be around 215 in 6-8 weeks.
Currently I'm pretty sure all my looseness will be at my gut and thighs as my chest has managed to stay pretty thick.
If you want to be happy, you most likely need to figure out your financial situation so you can do what you want with your chest. Long term sucks sometimes, but sometimes it may be the only option.
You didn't lose all that weight short term, right?
Thanks bros, i will continue to work hard.
maybe one day i'll make it
yeah the skin can be significantly reduced just by continuing to lean out and building muscle. i don't know if the skin will ever be normal without surgery but im damn sure going to try my hardest
How many calories do you guys eat a day to lose weight im trying to get my brother to lose weight hes 160kg and about 5'11got him to start gym I calcuated the calories a day to lose weight and it was 2800 and it just seems so obserd to me. Im a recovering skelly and 2800 calories gaining weight for me
>a mentally fucktarded tranny can get free treatment for chopping a dick off for free
>a motivated, /fit/izen can't get rid of the loose skin, no matter how hard he works or how much he changed his life around
We live in a fucked up society mates.
double nigga? fuck you i want to be a triple nigga
OP here. Thanks for all the positive comments guys.
Mean comments are okay to as long as they are funny.
As far as surgery, I was talking to a friend in the UK who
Said if I lived there I'd get skin removal surgery for free
So long as I said it affected my confidence lmfao.
So I guess it can be free depending on where you live
OP, if you're still relatively young most of that will tighten up, even the skin around your nips. One thing you will have to do though is get a chest wrap to keep them tittays from hanging while the collagen rebuilds.
The loose skin may not always get better but it's still better than the alternative, and it doesn't even prevent gf acquisition, apparently.
titty nigga here, good job on the weight loss man. it is definitely better than being fat, i would rather have loose skin than having a hard time walking up stairs... as a 14 yr old.
that memory of me breathing heavy doing simple activity will always stay with me. I promised to myself i will never go back to those conditions for the rest of my life
keep working hard family
