Pretty sure I watched a program once that tested Yakult and other brands and they found that most of the bacteria is dead before you even get to drink it

You're better off buying the tablet form, there are good brands out there, check Amazon

Good gut flora is linked to all sorts of functions, the brain being most interesting to me. High fiber diet also promotes good flora.
