Yeah sure if you deny it glucose with your MUH KETO diet, your brain will pull some gluconeogenesis bullshit to keep going, but it's at a much lower capacity.

Also being in a state of ketosis impedes your brain's ability to consume glucose.

When you are on a 75% fat diet your body turns the fat into ketones and your brain runs on them instead of glycogen.

Your brain can run on ketones or glycogen. If it did not run on either or you would go brain dead when you are in a fasted state because when you fast you are in ketosis and your brain is using your body fat as fuel in terms of ketones.
