>tfw short-term memory problems on Keto
welp, it was good run
guess it's back to carbs
>tfw eat a "300" cal cinnamon bun every morning, fits my macros so idgaf
>recently find out its a misprint, actually 300cal/100 grams
>each bun is about 253grams
>finally figure out why I'm not cutting nearly as fast as I should be
Within two weeks of cutting them out entirely in exchange for a some dried seaweed crisp things I'm visibly a lot thinner. Jesus christ -750 cals a day and I barely notice it's gone, fatties like me have no excuse
I've lost 100 pounds on keto, 10-15lbs a month. Down to 195 now.
Breh your brain runs entirely on glucose.
Yeah sure if you deny it glucose with your MUH KETO diet, your brain will pull some gluconeogenesis bullshit to keep going, but it's at a much lower capacity.
Also being in a state of ketosis impedes your brain's ability to consume glucose.
9 months. every 3 months i'll take 2 days off to binge on whatever the fuck I want.
pizza, brownies, & cheesecake mostly.
Then I go back to super low carb keto 1000-1200 cals a day
happens in a high protein diet, not a keto diet...... you post this shit every fucking time.
When you are on a 75% fat diet your body turns the fat into ketones and your brain runs on them instead of glycogen.
Your brain can run on ketones or glycogen. If it did not run on either or you would go brain dead when you are in a fasted state because when you fast you are in ketosis and your brain is using your body fat as fuel in terms of ketones.
>Eskimo have no other choice but to survive on whale blubber at certain parts of the year, and other people on cold climates. They are not dropping dead they are running on animal fat.
