Quarterbacks are usually the least muscular players on the team, alongside kickers and punters. If you want to look at a muscular football player, you're better off looking at linebackers and defensive tackles.
Athletics =/= looking good. Most of being great, being the best, is the mental and precise instinctive reaction in your play. After that, you need the strength and endurance to make that reaction effective, But you don't have to look like Adonis.

Defensive lineman have the endo/meso physique, broad frames and thick bone structures with decent body fat levels. This is Broderick Bunkley, he played eight years in the league as a nose guard. Hit 44 reps at the combine.
Linebackers tend to be around 230 - 265, usually carry a fair amount of body fat. Ends around 260 - 290, interior lineman usually 290 - 330 (lighter in a 4-3, heaver in a 3-4). IMO, running backs are probably /fit/-approved -- most muscle with least body fat.
