So when you talk about lifting, do you include the weight of the bar in the weight you list?
Standard bar is 45lbs; however some gyms are gay and use bars that only weigh between 15-25. Always check the weight of your bar; it will usually state its weight on the ring at the end.
I don't feel like such a puss now, I thought the weights people talked about were just the plates not counting the bar. Thanks guys.
spoke to a guy at the gym a few days ago. He said he includes his body weight minus like 20 pounds on his squat. i asked why
"because everything above your knees is being lifted as well."
