i started when i was 18. Its really good money for a student, i made about 50-60 usd per show (about 3 hours). On lucky days, i was able to make $250, but that doesnt happen too often.

Don't focus on the numbers focus on the contraction of the muscle. The strength will come after you can create a stronger mind muscle connection. I usually stay away from sets of 5 rep range and go for 8-12 or heavy sets of 3

I'm not the 5'8" 150 lb guy, who is definitely weak, by the way, but Hancott is only 5'5" and he weighs about 9 more kilos, plus he's squatting low bar in tight knee sleeves, a singlet and a belt.

No. They're pretty good especially for your physique. It's just that a 160 lb clean, 265 lb squat and 415 deadlift don't line up.
With such a weak clean and squat, I'm certain that the deadlift looks like complete trash, if you can even lift that much.
I would expect at least 295 squat and 185 on the clean with a 415 deadlift
just stuck with 5/3/1 the whole time and changing up accessory workouts every 6 months to switch it up. nothing special just time and proper diet...and binge drinking every weekend
just in general, how much of accessory work did you in general do? just interested cause a lot of people criticize 531 for the lack of volume.
also have you tried 3/5/1 and joker sets?
i dont really know say on bench day ill probably do 4 other chest exercises followed by biceps. I generally lack a designated program other than the 5/3/1 lifts and no I have not tried those

Yeah, it would seem so. With 5 years on a powerlifting program and that height and weight, his lifts should be near 180 for ohp, 300 bench, 400+ squat and 5 plate diddly. Perhaps considerably more if he was serious about the sport.
