Old one is kill >>35554358
I plan on bulking till May and then cut down to ottermode. I will also switch from SL5x5 to PPL next week. Will I have enough muscles for ottermode?
Slowly unfucking up my bulk. On the bright side, I had a physical yesterday and apparently grew 1.5 inches to the manlet cutoff. Also have perfect BP
Oh look, you fell for the "bulk till you're a fat fuck and then muster the effort to slim down" meme when you could've just ate above maintenance during lifting days to build lean tissue to avoid ending up looking like a wide retard. I bet you don't even know how much lean tissue is physically possible to build weekly.
You scrubs and your mental illness about muh bulks. You guys never learn.
kek. I know that I am not fat (67kg), even though the lighting is pretty bad. I also like how it looks when I have a shirt on, which I have 90% of the time (first time that I don't look like a skelly and I have energy to lift shit).
Been working out for about 5 months.
Posted in last CBT didn't get any advice.
Is it good for 5 months?
Chest won't grow no matter what, any tips? I do every possibly chest exercise available to me
>available to me
i sure hope you are benching and doing flys
your pec insertions are unusual - your chest is super long - so it will be harder to build it. but i've seen ppl with the same chest shape do it
>Judging a mans legs purely on his teardrop and calves
His tear drop looks really developed, guaranteed he has big muscular quads underneath those shorts. Also, his calves, though small, look developed as well.
If you can't see this and think he has no legs, well then good job on proving how much of a DYEL you are.
6 months in.
How's my progress? Also I'm gonna be cutting in spring
6'2", 185 lbs. my boxers have fucking elephants. Am I good otter mode?
It can't be a fake relax unless you know the person intended it to look relaxed while it wasn't.
The most you can do is observe a preference for taking non-relaxed photos, which shouldn't exactly come as a surprise to you.
You wouldn't think I could bench 110kg for reps
>tfw always look better in mirror than on camera
>tfw the camera doesn't lie
I need to gain some weight but it's a hard thing to do for me.
Can we talk about this? What I see in the mirror and what I see on my phone after taking a picture of that same mirror is completely different. Like, decent pump vs dyel different.
Do I suck at taking pictures or is it like that for everybody?
3-day split 3on1off.
3 years (first 10 months in "the home gym")
I don't do flat bench press or deadlift. Just started squatting half a year ago (knee problems). So I have only squatted 10x130kg, hack squat 6x185kg.
incline bench press 4x100kg (chest is my weak point)
So I'm pretty weak..
25, 154.6lbs, 24.3BMI
how long until i can see some abs?
i should mention that i just started working out this week. Last time i exercised was in high school and never took it seriously. had a life changing awaking during new years and im now motivated to improve my health.
currently working on my diet my calorie intake at 5'7 to maintain current weight: 1969 calories
To lose weight: 1469 calories
going to cut until i can see abs then i will bulk to 160 once i have a muscle base established.
should i just stick to cardio tues-thursday and do strength mon-wed-fri?
would a ECA stack help me lose that belly fat? i've had it since i was a kid too many years of being stuffed with tortillas and Mexican rice have taken a toll on my body.
do this anon:
>take small mirror, something you can hold with one hand
>stand in front of the big bathroom mirror
>look at the reflection of yourself through the small mirror
>you now see how you really look to everyone
Camera lenses can mess up proportions and shit, as well as the fact that lighting has a big effect on it
Just be wary though, you'll also see what your face looks like to other people. If you're one of those people that love their reflection but think their face looks "off" in pictures and shit... get ready.
I know your pose specifically flatters them but your shoulders are fucking massive bruh, gj
fuck cutting brah, eat at a maintenance and start liftan heavy
no point cutting "till you can see abs" because it's gonna take ages to get to 15% BF and even when you get there because you're eating a shit 1.5k kcal diet, you won't even have much abs to speak of
eat carbs and protein, not too much fat tho and lift heavy for a year until you have a good amount of muscle and then cut.
you're not obese or anything, you just have absolutely no fucking muscle whatsoever so you look like shit. trust me, when you build up that chest and arms the fat doesn't look too bad. once you've done that, then cut.
good luck brah, we're all gonna make it.
thanks buddy i was thinking of going cardio bunny mode but now im thinking otherwise.
this is the exact information i was looking for. thanks broseph
i've been doing nothing but cardio with light lifting since im weak as fuck and can only manage 4-6 reps (15lb dumbbells) before i get exhausted.
my only gym option is Planet fitness since its the only 24hr gym in my town and im limited to the exercises i can do there but im working with what i got some gym is better than no gym.
thanks for the help.
I know. 72kg 180cm
Bulking a little too hard also trying to masturbate and shower rn but my roommate is blasting the tv
what should i improove?
ps rate me for only 2 years of training
>tfw all that changed in 2 months was the lighting
bench was 3 rep max (did 2 alone and last one forced while friend was spotting me)
squat idk i think i did 1rm with 70kg but not sure
deadlift was my 1rm because of injury
i am focusing more on slow movement and activation of right muscle groups
160 to 190lbs
3 yrs liftan
I only started giving a shit about diet a year ago
Get a haircut desu but otherwise looking golden
Pretty good for 6'4, you're a big guy
Mirin fellow superior fair haired, when my arms are like hours we can catfish women
Best ITT, caught me mirin
Just started a bulking and creatine cycle 2 weeks ago. I've definitely begun to lose some definition but I'm currently up to 146. My goal is to hit 155 and then cut back to 145-7.
5'9" manlet here
mirin, what's your routine my man?
Interesting, in what way? Look about the same to me, just level of lighting is different and second is more so untensed
I'm only 179cm and ~72kg
Dude I know, I've been lfiting for 3 and a half years, and I did take a few steps back at some point, but I think I need to do a dreamers bulk and put my pride and abs and all that behind me to leave humanity behind once I cut again
It's a big step breh..
>they said i could be anything
>so i became a manlet
Ive been hitting 7 sets of 3 reps for most of the strength building exercises (deadlifts, squats, bench, etc) and 5 sets of 8 on everything else. Been eating relatively lean but attempting to increase my caloric intake drastically in the past 2 weeks. That and the creatine is taking away some of my tone but I've been making good strength gains. My bench has gone up 10lbs in under 2 weeks.
Ive never done a bulk cycle before but Im going to try it out for another 6 weeks and then cut pretty hard.
eyy man them shorts are my favorite. And my upperbody has made some sweet gains but Im having some trouble with my legs. My dad has chicken legs and a big upper body so Im gunna have to tren hard to beat those genetics.
a lot of my routine is based on callisthenics (parkour mustardrace)
you're not trying to do anything faggot. your body is shit and your numbers are worse. whatever routine you were doing should be banned from all gyms
you literally bench as much as I did when I first started lifting lmao
6 months progress 6'3 185 pounds
Seeing myself in a picture, I'm fatter than I thought I was
I told myself as soon as I got my degree, I was going to get fit. This is little more then a month in. I know its shit, but I can feel the difference.
>I started working out before graduation
What do you guys think?
I currently do weight training twice a week. Running every single day.
Currently eating 1700-2100cal a day.
High protein, low fat, lowish carbs.
Should I stop cutting?
Keep cutting and stop that stupid fuckin running every day bullshit. What u dont understand is running is the reason u aesthetically look like skinnyfat shit and until you stop prioritizing running over weights you will continue to look like DYEL shit
Lift weights 5x a week and run twice
Obviously I need to cut but what should my routine be?
used to be 270-280 pounds, how much longer cutting till i have visible abs? i've been on a "cut" for ~3 years now and symetricstrength shows me as intermediate, really wanna get to a low bodyfat % so i can like a normal human
My problem is, I have very limited access to weights.I own a few free weights and no bench. I have to go to planet fitness with my GF, and its pretty limited.
Ether way, If you think I'm cannibalizing my muscles or some shit then you are a retard. I know its hard to tell, especially because Its a month and I still look like shit. but I can tell I am getting more tone and my body fat % is going down for sure.
So keep cutting., run everyday. and lift almost everyday? What about push ups, pull ups, and some basic free weight shit? I saw my brother make a shitload of gains doing just basic stuff like that.
skinnyfat manlet here been lifting for a few months..any advice? do i have potential?
db press incline db press and flies
focus on hypertrophy rather than strength since you have no weights
make your own deadlift bar i cut down a 200 pound tree and used hand wraps to tie around it and my wrists and lifted that up when i started it's sitting in my back yard and its baby weight now
Fellow manlet here. You have decent shoulders and Chest looks fine.
You should cut to 12-15% then slowly bulk on a +300 surplus, at least that's what's worked for me.
>repostan because wrong pic
Cutting currently 190 at 5'10 need to learn how to pose before I post pictures anywhere
Bulk or Cut? 6'0 186lbs
I'm cutting right now, but I feel small as fuck, especially in clothes
>Will Cycle next month
bicycle to designated street, i assume
Month 4 of a bulk. Bulk ends in march.
5'10 171 lbs . Lifts are gettin up there. Bench 220x8 I'm pretty happy about. My goal is 3 plate. My squat is literally the same as my bench but that's because of an injury.
>tfw Prometheus could be the perfect twunk
>tfw he's heteroscum
life is unfair.
IVE BEEN LIFTING REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
this is a pic from may 2015, as you can see 0 fucking gains, idk what i did wrong, i watched form videos, diet videos, did SS... idk lads
This guy is 6' 171 lbs and benches only 205x5 on incline
You have nowhere near the muscle tone of Radu and claim to bench considerably more... tsk
>Start eating 3000 calories per day
You'll gain a lot of weight, but that's fine. That's what you want to happen.
>In that diet, make sure to get 100 grams of protein per day
Muscles need protein to grow. Make sure you're getting plenty of it.
>Find a routine that hammers every muscle group
This includes traps, delts, triceps, biceps, forearms, chest, lats, abs, obliques, quads, hamstrings, and calves
>Don't overwork your muscles
Give each muscle group two days of rest before you work them out again. This is crucial because if your muscles don't have enough time to recover from every workout, you won't gain any muscle. In fact, you'll find yourself losing strength.
I can't list out all the benefits of cardiovascular exercise in one post, but it works. Also take into consideration that our entire body evolved for running, so doing so in healthy amounts could never in a million years hurt you.
After you've been doing all this for 8 or 9 months, it's time to cut. Eat 1500 calories per day while still adhering to all the other points. You'll look great compared to now.
Did you follow all the other steps? Also,
>actually lost weight
You were burning more than 3k then which is actually amazing. Either that or you weren't really eating 3k.
>had to eat 3500/day to gain anything
Then do that.
You're a fucking retard. Muscle tone is a medical term, you fucking dunce. 80s aerobics videos turned it into something else.
It just means that your muscles have definition, and are thus leaner and/or larger
I thought I did but I didn't eat enough for the longest time. Also I'm just going off my dining hall's nutrition info which could easily be way off.
I'm still unsure of whether to cut or bulk. If you go up a bit I'm the guy who posted the pepe looking in the mirror.
Went from 125 to 140. Bulked and Maintained 140lbs for good amount of time now so for next cycle that starts in 3 weeks I might try hgh with Winstrol and bulk again. I'm going to leave /fit/ and humanity behind for a lil bit to focus on gains.
I'm 25 and I've benched since i was 14. Bench has always been easy as dick. I never did much isolation for chest until i started PPL tbqh. I'm facing the mirror straight, not at an angle. Also i benched 185x10 on incline today after my OHP set. I haven't touched incline in over half a year probably. Are you guys seriously mad? Damn I'm making /fit/ mad. I'm feelin the jelly mirin. Are you tucking your elbows in the whole time? Are your forearms straight at the bottom position? Is your wrist pronated? Are you using Leg drive? Are you flexing your for? Exhaling on the pushes?
Well that changes things- you clearly suck dick at training if you're 10 years balls deep into lifting and are still chubby at 171 lbs and can't even squat 3 plates
And no, I have shitty form on bench. I don't use leg drive, I have very little tightness and I don't use breathing techniques. Maybe I should
Top fucking kek you're yelling at some rando. God you're mad. Just admit you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. That guy is smaller than me muscle wise. Two inches more and the same weight? I've got bigger muscles but I'm not as toned.
underweight guy with some psychological problems here. How can I get more motivated to go to the gym and especially to eat more?
25 179cm 57kg. Started at about 54,5 kg
I got a gains goblin. Terrible idea but i know from here on out i will never do that again and i know i will never quit the gym again. Gym gains make you way happier than relationships.
I am mad, because I'm getting slammed with the reality that a large percentage of athletes, gym rats and fitness personalities are on drugs, and I'm squandering my true genetic potential, naturally high test, top tier genetic markers as identified by 23&me, when I could in reality become an incredible athlete if I went on a cycle.
But I'm too stubborn and have too much cognitive dissonance to go on drugs.
I went on a brief google search and found a bunch of statistics from 10-15 years ago which proclaimed that something like 5-10% of high school males have used gear at some point. And not just the football and baseball players trying to play in D1, non-competitive athletes as well.
Here I am placing stock in my ability to gain muscle and strength and somehow do something with my life, when the answer is right in front of me, yet I'm too afraid to reach out and take it.
Its an addiction and it's disconnecting me from everything else that matters in my life. Gains goblins are the last thing I need to ever worry about
No one can tell you how to do that or do it for you. You have to try and do it for yourself, you owe yourself that much.
As for the eating, it comes with practice.
We're all gonna make it
Been about 6 weeks into a lean bulk.
170 @ 6'2
I've been working on posture and have almost gotten rid of my hips.
Atg highbar is my favorite lift
