Why do you lift /fit/? I lift so I can look better for my autistic

Its an easy hobby that isn't very expensive (I actually spend less money on food now and don't buy any supplements) where you can objectively see yourself improve on a very regular basis.

I feel sick and don't get a lot of work done if I don't exercise too.

My dad was a strong man in his prime, from when I was a real young kid I always tried to beat him in an arm wrestling competition. I'm still trying and I have to do it before he can start blaming his loss on old age

Its a good hobby to get into. Can see progression pretty regularly. A lot of people start out lifting to get girls, but I'll take the respect I get from my peers over getting girls.
