It's so fucking painfully bad. People treat you like garbage, the pay is shit and the work hours are out the roof. The only way to make it is to slave it for 5-6 years in hopes of getting certified.

Shit, I work from like 10-4 every day, with an hour, hour and a half spent at the gym. I make $114k a year. What's more alpha than that?
I'm a software developer for an Aerospace company. What this guy >>35553902 says is true. My salary is a bit lower though, but probably only because I live in a place with really low living costs and with the income taxes here, you're actually better off making a little under 100,000 per year until you get up to 110 or something.
