just finished my second meet ever 3 hours ago and wanted to share my good feels because no one else really cares. was some local "preparation" meet but at least i got some experience.

did 210/135/210 @ 92kg bw raw.
third bench was really a grinder, got one red light at second dl attempt and bombed out at 220kg for third try. overall happy tho.

been lifting for 2 1/2 years now. 24 years old.

There's a reason for having a hypertrophy block when using phase potentiation, and thats because if you're just doing the big 3 or very similar motions of it, you aren't going to build fuck all for mass even at 10 rep sets.

You absolutely need to switch gears from strength or peaking blocks into hypertrophy.

when you do one style of training, its effectiveness goes down. you ABSOLUTELY must switch things up to maintain a higher response from your stimulus. Because of this, we utilization of phase potentiation comes as:

>hyper trophy block ( 6-12 reps, tons of variations to build muscle where you normally don't as much - GLUTES)
>strength block (vollluuuuummmeeeeee singles doubles triples 70-85%)

It came in phases and disappeared again, I thought it was long sitting that caused it, but now it's there a lot more, even when I don't sit a lot.

I currently don't even deadlift so that can't be it - my dl sucks and always gave me the same type of pain - so I stopped doing it until I figure out how to do it.

The pain is hard to describe. It's not a sharp pain, more dull.
It makes sitting really uncomfortable and standing still as well.

Solely walking kind of reliefs it, I guess simply because the pressure is being evened out.

I don't know if this means anything, but I was like mid / far end 80kg at the beginning, then I cut to 58kg in just over 1 month by starving myself / keto.

I didn't know I was starving myself, I didn't even know I was doing keto. I was trying to eat healthy and had the impression carbs were hitter or something.

So I assume gaining back body weight was easier due to this?

Being a recon squad my squad was smaller than the avg squad, 1 leader, 1 co-leader, 2 soldiers, 2drivers(with LMGs).

We had good bantz but it was also stressful so occasionally we'd have arguments and snap at eachother etc. I think thats true for anyone in the military though. But as a leader you're more often involved in heated arguments than the soldiers, and you're more stressed out in general.
