PPL is the greatest routine template. There's something about going to the gym 6 times a week and doing heavy compounds each day of the week. My body looks way too good and I'm gaining mad strength gains. Is this like doing test because of all the hormones from the compounds everyday? I'm supposed to have been bulking for four months now and im cut as fuck. I'm 5'9 and 172 lbs and no matter what i eat i gain muscle size but no fat. Is 6 days a week overpowered? I've been getting compliments in clothes.

You work triceps on push day 2x per week, and you also work triceps on "legs & shoulders" day 2x a week.

So you are working triceps 4x per week. While only working biceps 2x per week. Unless you don't do OHP on shoulder day (in which case you're a pleb)

Why would anyone do shoulders with legs?

The whole purpose of PPL is to find a reasonable functional split, so that you work different areas of your body while the rest can rest. Then you go and put shoulders on leg day. You necessarily work out your triceps, traps and chest as well and ruin the whole split.

Put shoulders on push day where it belongs. The rear shoulders can be covered on pull day and you are fine.

I do them with legs. I heard of people doing them on pull days though. I usually do more extensive core workout on leg days as well, so it fits somewhat well.

Me personally i get shoulders by

Push day 1
Bench3x8
Push press x10-12

Push day 2
OHP 3x8
Incline bench 3x12

Acessories focus more on chest day on bench day and more shoulders on the OHP day. Me i bench 215 for 8 reps so i need a full week before i push out 5 more pounds for 8 reps.
